  • Repairing the JL-10 after the Takeoff crash during FT Flying Session 7 , Long video this one - so I decided to split it into parts 1 and 2 - Almost got the point of smashing it up and throwing it all in the Rubbish Bin (Trash),
Was it worth the effort - we will find out later in the Month (June 2024),,,,

Hi Paul, You never know but I doubt it, - I learnt a lot - use a small 6s Battery or two 3s and use the gyro, also let it run before you lift it off... Cheers Martyn

Hi Gazza - thanks for that I have taken a look and they do have a nose !!! - but I do not think I am going to get it as this EDF does have long to live in my squadron - going to move it on or strip it out - but I need to know if it will fly again under my pilotage - is that a real word ?? LOL - Cheers Martyn

A good start to the repair, do you know what caused the crash?

Not really Jeff - it all happens so fast and so unexpected - the flight before was awesome - I can guess that it was my fault as I applied up elevator before it was ready to fly and it tip stalled a wing - but also the gyro was OFF - I had not flown it with the Gyro off at all - Cheers Martyn
