We did this chapter this morning with our kids. One thing we came up with was, Naboth knew Ahab couldn't inherit more in Israel...which means everyone probably knew it. A weak King rules their own people ruthlessly, all the while making treaties with their enemies...while the King of Kings is ruthless with His enemies and shows grace to those who obey him.

Yes absolutely. Ahab contrasts the King of kings quite well.
The story reminds me of our government how we can own our own property and somehow or another the government can come in and take it over
This sort of move was common among the ancient nations but Israel had laws limiting kings
