Quick tip: Turn the special and finisher meter to slow in match options for a more methodical longer match. It makes the superstars having to earn it rather than them relying on good attributes to boost them up. It provides a fair fight.
I actually enjoy these sliders. For PPV I turn the defense rate to 100 and the so damage scaling to 15 since I do AI vs AI. My reasoning is because in PPV in real life there tend to be way more kickouts compared to normal raw and smack down. Like instead of broke lesnar vs undertaker match lasting only two finishers it might take 3-5. That might sound excessive but when you watch these fights in real life your realize these guys turn super human when there’s a lot at stake.
I’m the same way when I do my PPVs, I only do one show where I don’t control the matches. I make the AI kick out maybe 3 times of a finisher depending on the story I want to tell. It all depends since my universe is heavily story based
Question? When you say the defense rate, do you mean like the settings that consist of A.I. Rate Settings. I am just wondering, because in PPV. They do make it entertaining for the viewer to watch so they kickout of finishers and I am wondering what Finisher and Signature Meter you use. Like maybe Normal is good but IDK..
@@Botch_TV Oh alright because when for Universe Mode of course.. Like for Raw and Smackdown I would use Slow for Signature and Finisher Motions. I think you would agree, and for PPV, I think you use normal which is good so the pace of the match is entertaining. Which I am thinking your saying.
@@drzxo7382 Not just that but the way that I choreograph a match is solely based on the story. It’s not really about who wins and who loses, It’s more of telling a story mostly with my commentary. I’ll do things purposely like the let the AI put me through a table, or I’ll do an announce table spot or something. Most of the time I have an idea of who I want to win but in case that doesn’t happen then I have another scenario too. The story continues regardless of the outcome and people remain invested. That’s something that is been missing from Wrestling for a long time.
I like how we have kind of like the same play style, I will let the computer beat on me, take turns and try to put on the best match… a lot of times before the match I’ll have set in my head who is gonna win and I’ll try and play it out, it’s a really fun realistic way to play imo
I want to try and tell the best stories possible through matches, promos and segments. Have it all come together. Sometimes I have a scenario in my head in case something doesn’t go as planned so the story still turns out captivating and worthwhile for my audience.
@@tremble_soul2376 that’s the thing I never write anything down except for match cards. I don’t script my promos for my character, I just talk about whatever I want.
With the way I do my universe mode, I want to create the best stories I can. I understand that the AI and gameplay will most likely never be perfect but it’s all about preference of what you’re trying to do with the game so I thought explaining how I use them would be more helpful.
I have the same problem with tag matches sometimes. There’s nothing to really help it. Sometimes even the best settings, can’t combat poor AI mechanics.
Mate I am playing 8 man money in the bank and I'm feeling that superstars gets up early I roll them out and I do a finisher and suddenly in 10 seconds they wake up what exactly should I change to make them stay longer down in the ground and make it more realistic?
yooo im having a problem so when someone does a submission on me i have the button mash option for the submission mini game and it like doesnt even work ii press the buttons it gives me as fast as possible but nothing is happening its just making me submit idk if i messed a setting up or something but its getting annoying because im constantly loosing matches because of submissions
Shouldn’t have anything to do with the sliders but I use the setting of holding the buttons. The submission mini game gets harder depending on if a body part is severely damaged or not so that could be the reason or maybe the controller you’re using is messed up or it could have something to do with the superstar’s submission defense attributes but I myself haven’t had any issues in regards to getting out of submissions.
There are no specific sliders for that. I suggest just turning off Resiliency paybacks to make it more realistic. The higher pin escape attribute is for a superstar the easier it will be for them to kick out but The way I do matches I purposely don’t kick out or I press down on the D-pad to make the AI kick out for the purpose of telling a story.
@@Botch_TV the reason I ask is because if I play a match on legendary with default settings I can press A alot easier and kick out of say a 1st finisher done to me, but as soon as I put these settings in I get one finisher done to me and I'm pressing A vigorously and I just can't kick out before the count of 3 and its getting frustrating lol
No problem, just trying to help the community get more realistic matches. I found these sliders to be the best for me and what I want to do with my content.
also, another question, when I put the finisher and signature to slow for the time they build up, does that also apply to me? Even though I set it to slow, it feels like I get my finisher and signature so quickly
It does apply to you as well. It also depends on the finisher and special attributes of the particular superstar as well. Some will earn it more quickly despite the slow option but that’s why in the attributes I leave those two alone for the most part for balance.
Hi, these sliders definitely improved me game, however I realise that the damage on the body etc goes up ridiculously quick, whereas I thought it would be the other way around? Anything I can do to reduce the damage?
I don’t believe so, if there is I don’t know. I could be wrong but I don’t think there is. The only damage slider that I think they have is the AI damage which is controlling the amount of damage the AI does to you per move, the higher the slider the more damage, as the player it does nothing for the AI itself I think in terms of health. I go for a more back-and-forth matches when I control the matches. CPU Vs CPU does whatever it wants to do and there’s only so much you can do till the actual AI is improved on 2K’s end. Hope that clears everything up and happy playing.
@@Botch_TV also, another question, when I put the finisher and signature to slow for the time they build up, does that also apply to me? Even though I set it to slow, it feels like I get my finisher and signature so quickly.
I'm new to the game but I believe the run ins do carry over to universe...for example when I turned up entrance run in more often the ai would interrupt my entrance in universe...maybe I'm wrong but it changed for me

Setting the Finsher & Signature meter charge rate to Slow helps a lot too for longer matches.
How do I do this?
Personally I put finisher reversal rates up to 80/85 cause I like to have a much longer buildup to a finisher actually hitting

How much stamina it costs to do an attack or how much impact an attack has on your stamina mostly for signatures and finishers

the most surprising pins are the ones where wrestler grabs a rope and referee keeps counting lol that's cool :)
