@Charles - It is but I said no new OP vehicles :) Selling the Mars will not really affect the game much since the progetto is already a tank that exists and lots of people have anyway. Also they sell it quite frequently so I doubt there will be any noticeable change like when BZ dropped :)

@@adadeutsch9593 i think the FV215 183 is a fun tank, BUT you need to go into it with expectations of it being random and trolly. it is very unreliable tank with high peaks and low valleys, when it comes to performance.
so it depends on if you want that playstyle or not

I'm glad that all the tanks in auction haven't been blatantly overpowered. Yes the options were disappointing but I'd rather whales dumped money on rare but meh tanks, than rare and incredibly busted tanks. However for the f2p player the auction was poor no opportunity for a t8 prem for credits which is a shame.
Just play a renegade. Not only do you make more credits but you will also have a much more enjoyable experience.
Shame too, because I like the Renegade, and would have liked a good tier 9 variant to complete the set (Renegade, T54, E5)

I was thinking exactly the same thing. WG releases a balanced tank and everyone talks bad about it. The community really wants op tanks so they will have an excuse to shit talk about the company. And the thing is that the ccs have a big influence about this matter.
Or just make it in line with tech tree tanks?

... I have to be honest... I don't hate it. 480m view range, 450 alpha and -12. The tumor is an issue, but I just play it like my AT-7. Hide the cupola behind a wall or barrier, turn away after firing, you bounce more than you should. Tho reload is not great, so if they get in your face, it's usually over if they are equal tier.
From the first battle it seems this tank needs vertical stabilizer or experimental turbo at least.
this while all they needed to do was to take the m-103 and adjust it a tiny bit to make a fun credit maker...

I will say I actually love the K-2. It's a novel tank and is performing better than many expected.

I got very confused, seeing CCs mention a "T54 Heavy". I thought It was another Soviet heavy tank, but this time one based on the T-54 - up-gunned and up-armoured. (kinda analogous to T-54 ltwt.)
US tanks don't use the hyphen between the T and the number, whereas Soviet tanks do.

Wg is trying to make a tier 9 rene, but fail to understand that the mobility and gunhandling is why rene works. Also why t110e5 is not really competetive. Also why would i buy this when i have the same tank with better mobility and gunhandling and better dpm at tier 8? Also the gold ammo on it is not really good compared to 340 heat on phase 1 and m103 and the gunhandling on those tanks is far better.
11:53 That shot on Amx 30 was highest roll possible. %25 percent rng means, for a 450 alpha gun, 562.5 is the possible highest roll.
i remember when i got the rene in the last waffle event, the first battles were horrible, the gun was amazing but that was all, the tank was too hard to be enjoyable. the time went on and i got the point of the tank, ended loving it but its hard gameplay is very stressful.
with that in mind i dont see a way to even tolerate this thing.
How about comparsion to AE Phase I ? Which one is better?

This tank is in the console version of the game, and it falls into the first era, of the modern war tanks. (Cold war tanks, tiers 11,12,13. )
Most of the stats are lower than the console version, but that's because it's a tier9, (tier 11 on console)
Wonder if we'll see many more tanks from the cold war eras, appear in the PC version .

If T54 heavy only could have the same gun handling, dpm and mobility as M54 renegade but with slightly higher alpha, hitpoints, armor and penetration it would be competitive. To bad the mobility, gun handling and dpm are all worse.
All tank sold on the Asian/Aus/NZ server were for Free Exp and yes you need to use your Gold to convert combat EXP to this, but I see you stated they were sold for Gold on EU server?
Toptier in all three battles.. not a single battle against tier X... not a realistic picture of how the tank will do.. But thanks for the video anyway....
The t-54 heavy is just an up-tiered renegade. The T-54 lacks in the areas that the Renegade excels in however. Though it has great alpha for a 120mm gun and has some decent pen for it's tier, The longer reload, poorer gun accuracy / handling soft-stats, and being 11kmph slower than the renegade doesn't make up for that difference in my opinion. It will play similarly to it, but it's not going to replace it any time soon. It's probably one of the more balanced tanks we've had in quite a while, but the Cheiftan prot. is still the better pick out of that lineup.
Courious when will be the moment that Ivan says: Igor after releasing some shitty tier 9 premiums it's time for our Ebolitus Chieftainus Rex. lets put it into boxes :)

Sad situation that only once wg gave us a chance to participate in this auction by spending credits and it was useless tanks to buy. Now it is end and we have nothing on our hands. Shame!!

I'm really glad WG releases the t9 premiums like they did with the first t8 prems back in the day. Beeing worse than their techtree counterparts. If this tank wouldn't be bad, there would be no reason to play normal T9's and soon T9 MM would look like the cesspool that is t8 MM today...

Hey all, for the same price ( to be fair for 10 euros less at the moment, 9:30pm CET ) , you can buy the Object 703 Version II, go with it if you want to buy a premium.
I just started watching, this is going to make me bid for the tank or not. Cause based on the stats I didn't have a lot of good things to see, seems like an average tank with derpy gun.
What about the comparison with chieftain proto........?

I'm struggling to see why I would play this over the AE Phase I besides an extra two degrees of gun depression which is negligible.
WG affects and raises price of the lot. I was watching statistics of prices for lots on EU and Ru region. And they have something very common. Few hours after start of lot FV215b 183 competitive bid occurs, and it is precisely equal. For EU region at 14:31 first competitive bid = 200000 with amount of participants ~20150. For Ru region - at 12:51 first competitive bid = 200000 with amount of participants ~20170. And this was not only for FV215b bid, but also for Mars. And I know that WG "doesn`t operate" in Ru region but come on, it is not simply coincidence.

That tank is a Renegade with better alpha damage and penetration for tier 9 (which is normal) but to be fair the tank itself doesn't look so good.

Skill can you comment please. I notice that you are using Reticle mod as well as improved aiming. Does this mean that Improved aiming reduces the reticle mod further, I feel that there is no longer any need for improved aiming now if using the reticle mod so chose another equipment piece.
Mod does not affect an aiming time.
@@Armatureus The reticle mod reduces the reticle size, the improved aiming unit also reduces the reticle size, yes! so individually they both reduce reticle size. My question for Skill is .... If you are using the reticle mod and benefiting from the reduced reticle size, if you also use the improved aiming unit will it reduce the reticle size further. I am finding that it does not. I might be incorrect but if I am correct then using the improved aiming unit as well is a waste of time and you should select a different piece of equipment.
dispersion is still in game whether you have reticle mod or not buddy
@@bigmike98k Cheers, yes RNG dispersion will always be in the game but does using the improved aiming unit reduce the reticle further when already using the reticle mod. I'm not getting a direct answer to this.

Sounds like it's a good tier 9 premium, i.e. not as good as fully tricked out tier 9's but better than a non-elite one. Just like all other tier 9 premiums.

And here I am, the WZ-114 enjoyer lol. 600 more base hp at the same tier (same as Mäuschen) feels pretty good even if the dpm is laughable
I got my WZ-114 on the marathon. I don't like it but somehow I have a higher winration on this tank then on any other of my tanks lol. WZ-114 is not that bad in terms of alpha damage (if you manage to connect your shot), but it's not a brawl tank as it lacks DPM so much. You just want to find someone who will support you and then this tank will shine to the best it can (but in depends just on RNG)

I beg to differ. In my opinion, I think Wargaming is doing a great job balancing the Tier XI aka 9 premiums against the Tech Tree tanks, at least for now.
This used to be a case for Tier VIII (aka 8) premiums too. Until they start introducing tanks that constantly power creep even the tech tree tanks.
Over the years, we have been spoilt by Wargaming to think that each new premium tank release must be better than the previous releases.

The Hull/chassis is the same as the T54e1 right? I’m pretty sure it’s an M48 Patton Chassis (at least historically it was).

It's basicly a worse Renegade ish tank but at tier 9 and you can't even go hulldown because of the cupola. Save your gold. Hard skip for me. Slow, aweful pen, poor armor and list goes on.
Skill, just a thought, IMO shouldn't you be reviewing the new tanks with a more common set up??, you review the tanks with max crew set up, field mods, etc. The avg player won't have this set up so the tank is much better than the avg player will have. That plus your obvious player skill and map awareness doesn't really represent the tank properly. Great players can make any tank ok, show us how it would be with a 3 skill crew and avg set up, thanks a bunch love your vids
It's like this Skills put Bounty Equipment on the tank, I have limited Equipment, will I was it on this that? I played T-29 yesterday and it sucks, but if I put Bond Equipment and Derivatives on it it would be better. But is it worth it? Nah!. Skill is using Derivatives on this, if a Teir 9 Premium makes bonds but you are using 7 or 10 bonds a game to play it, what's the point?

In my opinion, it's good that this tank is not better than the regular tanks from the tech tree.
The idea of premium tanks used to be that they will be slightly worse than regular tanks, but with better credit/free exp rewards and the ability to train crews for that nation. If only they did this to all premium tanks....
