Hey Justin, I always find your videos very informative. I feel I can trust your reviews and advice. Please keep on with the work. I’ve got a throw-back question, do you remember the old blade MQX? I’ve got one and I’m attempting to update the quad with a more reliable, more stable flight board. Do have any suggestions? And what is the highest power rating on batteries you think I can use? Thanks
Is crossfire dead NO I will stick with my xfire which I have had 0 issues with, elrs is good but I don't like all of the issues to get it set up love my Crossfire
"Answer me! Who taught you how to do this Crossfire?!?!" "You alright, I learned it by watching you!!!" RUclipsrs who use Crossfire have viewers who use Crossfire. Jokes aside, I started using Crossfire because of Justin D. I haven't had failsafe yet. Crossfire is expensive, but it just works.
TBS will suffer the same fate as Research In Motion. They are arrogant and not producing anything lately. Riddled with problems while the industry caught up and has since surpassed them. ✌️
True, in line of sight. Then you accidentally or clumsily end up behind the peak of a mountain with scraggeled video image. It saves the aircraft and your day.
@@skazib5235 Lose range? At 1W I still have control and can engage full-throttle to regain video signal or RTH manually, compared to 100mW where I would have to rely on failsafe only. Either way, happy flying!
Crossfire is encrypted. ELRS is not. Crossfire is the only low latency link that is encrypted. Maybe not important to recreational fliers, but to commercial, law enforcement, and war applications it is superior.

No it's not encrypted, trappy cleared that nonsense up a long time ago.
Can you get 2 watts out of it or not?

ERLS 915 power 2w?
Never had a full out failsafe on elrs, only little micro fs when I was turning and the antenna was at a bad orientation.
I’m running Ghost and DJI built in receivers. Zero issues with any of them.
Is it 915 Mhz antenna rp-sma or sma?
Any tricky /hardware hacks for that ✌️watts?
I like how it has a max power mode after 1000 kinda makes you think it can do more than 1000 😊
It can. At least I remember reading that they were being tested at 1400mW
@@vertigo2893I thought it would thanks

My crossfire broke. I have gotten dead receivers
Kinda cool seeing what tech makes it and what doesn't so many dead ideas 😅
The 915mhz module does 2W
Stupid question perhaps....what receivers are you using. or recommend? thanks.
I have all types. I love the Betafpv diversity rxs

It does. I use both now but it’s taking me a while to leave it
LOL...i totally remember that commercial. 👍
@@PopeyeFPV Haha yeah. Still remember that commercial from the 80s. 😀👍

@@cflin4637 yeah I don’t know the details with opentx. I only know what I’ve seen from TBS in the last 2-3yrs.
i hear this link is very shotty mads tech had alot of issues with failsafes
Dc army strong!
DC Army is real! 💪🏻
Who needs such power? 1W in a 915Mhz module... I can easily cover 10km on 100mW.

@@icp-trek if you fly beyond the top of the mountain, you will lose range even if you had 5W

so what you're saying is there's absolutely no need for crossfire
@@TheHillsHaveFPV I fly ELRS
@ If you're on firmware v6.19 or later it absolutely is.
@@TheHillsHaveFPV And that's hardly what I said.
