I don't know why I didn't start watching you sooner. You all have become one of my new favorite farming channels to watch. Please keep up the long content I love it!
That means a lot! Thank you
@@WelkerFarmsno, thank you!
@@WelkerFarms Means a lot to me too to have great content to watch. SO.. I decided to snag a hoodie as well don't thank Scott for telling me to go to the store or anything either ;)
In a way I’m jealous of you, for the simple reason that there is such a back catalogue of content that you’re only discovering. Everything from the big bud restoration, the international restoration, making the screener, both house build series, the big brute conversions all the bin builds, the lake house restoration… and then the actual farming content, all the planting and harvesting. I’m just now realising that I’ve been watching you guys for the best part of 8 years!!
@@kevinbehan I am actually very excited to go back and catch up
I DO NOT THINK THERE IS A BUSINESS ANYWHERE THAT COULD AFFORD YOU GUYS SKILLS. AWESOME AND VERY PROUD OF THE BOTH OF YOU. BLESSINGS
I’m not sure there’s a business that could afford to not employ them!
It's great to watch you guys take older equipment and fix it up. Not all farmers can afford to own/lease all new stuff.
Great job Bob and sons!
23:42 "the ground is down there Scott, you are standing on it.." XD witty Welkers...
Farm shops like yours are the kind that actually make money
Nothing beats the sound of a straight piped CAT
Indeed, but I am looking at where they sit and it looks to me like they now have mirrors full of stack. They're well away from the cab side.
Agreed.
I am amazed at how far you guys have come over the years, your videography has grown over the years and I will always appreciate your work. I have loved watching all your special projects over the years, my favorite will always be Big Brute!
I aint sure why but smakin that bracket with a hammer on one side and a rock bar on the other made me laugh pretty hard 😂
the old reliable fire wrench comes to the rescue
The ollllle smoke wrench
The minute that I saw the come along cable wrapped around the spring I bid it a fond farewell. Ask me how I know😂😂😂
Done lots of those pins and bushings and hangers . I have seen the grease pin worn over 1/2 the way thorough. As a mechanic I earned a good living with a grease gun . Surprise how many pins would not take grease. Good honest day of hard work . Thanks for sharing
So happy to see that you Guys got a little rain today. YAY!
Three tenths! Unfortunately a huge windstorm came immediately after and sucked most of that precious moisture back. 😢
Ole blue is alive n talking with a new rebuilt heart
You guys make the mistakes look so funny cause you already knew that may happen You Boys have to make Dad Welker Proud every day!!! God Bless and Great Work!!!
😜
Guys are doing a great job working together on making your Dad a good looking ride that he can be proud of. Knowing that his sons worked hard at building and putting it together. Once again good job guys.
As a life long springer spaniel fan i love your dog, reminds me of a long lost friend
You've already got a replacement heater core for this truck. The 378 377 379 shared the same cab and frame the only difference was the hood and fenders on them.
I have been a viewer for along time. Today I was thinking, as Nick was working on the truck, how much his comfort level has grown over the time. Leg-arms on the other hand has always been a natural.
Can't wait to see the convoy of this and the 9370, at harvest time! 👍😎🤘
Yes! Way to go fellas. Sounds like America
guys you all did it again fantastic Truck engine sounds real sweet Pa Welker is gonna be real happy running that rig
I absolutely love how a 3406 cat and a 13 speed feel.
Ur dad, standing in front of motor with a speed wrench, to attempt to CRANK the motor over was way to funny !!! 😂 yall did an excellent job turning that truck around(upgrades and repairs), BUT it needs a WELKER FARMS decal on the doors !!!
22:49 you gotta love Mr Welker, always makes me smile :)
That old truck is coming together beautifully 😍
It sure is!
@@WelkerFarms 🙏🙏🙏
Awesome credit to Scott for rewiring that system !! Not a simple job knowing what is needed and what is not !
The blue on this Pete looks great. You could say it's the "Welker Farms Corporate Color".......
Congratulations guys. Several weeks of hard work has paid off!!
Seemed like only a few hours to me from what I saw! jk
You know we were all waiting for the engine to run and the smiles that came with it!! Well done. Hoping the rain finds you. Je
Greetings from Germany! We are starting here with haymaking, and the thunderstorms are comming
Your toolbox is keenly obvious. It makes many engine men really envious. Congrats on your grand success.
😂Farmers have to get it done, one way or another. They have crops or seeds waiting. Farmers been doing it that way forever. America's backbone. Great work fellas, keep up the good work.🚜
Nick is definitely the master wrench man!! The way you guys are not afraid to tackle projects like this is awesome! Its funny though how nick always gets crammed under or inside of the truck in some tight space when legarms is just haning out up top tighting a screw or something!!😂😂 All joking aside all of you guys are awesome and so talented!
Hello there, we've all been wondering where you've been all this time, never mind that for now, you're here now & that's the important thing. Welcome to Welker Farms World, sit back, relax & enjoy. 😀
So much in this video. I enjoy all the wrenching and the problem solving that you all do! I remember the days, many years ago, when my hands and clothes resembled Nick’s. On the electrical side, tell Leg-Arms I think it’s the white wire. 😂 on a little more serious note, it appeared that you used lock washers when you attached the new spring support brackets. One of my first projects when I was hired by a major as equipment manufacturer was to conduct a test on holding power of various fastener combinations, above 1/2”. Using a spring lock washer actually yields a “soft” joint that results in the potential of an untight joint (bolt not stretched). I suggest throwing away all lock washers and torquing appropriately for a given size fastener. Also, a little lube on the threads will ensure that you get to proper torque. And lastly, your Dad is such a hoot!
I love the fact that you take older equipment and update it and turn it into something usable. Good job guys.
💪💪💪Those stacks are looking great! 👁
And sound GOOOOOD!!!!
@@WelkerFarms They sound AWESOME! 😊
Lol watching this morning and got a laugh seeing scott pull the hose out only to put about 25-30 different “leaks” on the block. Done that many times
Thanks for another absolutely amazing and fantastic video.
It was super interesting and informative and certainly enjoyable to watch and follow along!!!!!
Congratulations on starting your new engine and hearing it run - - yeah!!!!!!!!!!::
I am so pleased for all three of you after all of your hard work!!!!!!
I am amazed at all of the items you are taking care of as you get towards the end of the project.
You make note of an item that needs doing, you then make or redesign the part, install it and press on to the next item. Absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!!
You are getting close to the end. Watching you three get this truck project completed and on the road has been an amazing journey. These truck project videos have been some of your best. Wonderful!!!!!
Anxious to see the finished project and you all getting the truck on the road.
Saw a short video today that mentioned you could use some rain moisture.
I am sending my prayers and blessings to you for rain moisture for your crops.
You all take care.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Those voice overs of Hollywoods stunt doubles work have got to be rough.😂
Look fantastic guys!
It looks like y’all received a good little rain today. This year is the one guys!
Can't wait!
New favorite channel right here! Love this series with the 377! It’s definitely a clean truck!
Glad you enjoy it!
Love the new truck. 50 year driver loves the straight pipes! But my hearing aids say don’t do it! 😂you guys will do the right thing. You always do. Love your channel !
The debris coming out of the exhaust is the Ashes of Tree Huggers Past.
Nothing like turning that key on new engine and it fires up.
Congratulations on job well done.
Except it is the same engine from the old truck, just painted.
Hey you guys! This is one AWESOME video! When you were cranking it over I was chanting "come on....START" I actually held my breath! When it started it sounded absolutely sweet! Can't wait to see what happens next! Until your next video ~~~ Stay safe, healthy and happy!
Awesome job you guys. No need for a muffler it sounds crisp and sharp. Once you get the fuel pump adjusted you gotta put it on the dyno before you adjust it and then again after. A 10% increase should give you at least 500 ponies all day!
Thanks! Will do!
After a lot of hard work the ole kitty cat sounds great
You guys are terrific, best wishes & weather for future success for your family, from a country boy from Westlock Alberta, cheerio
Thanks so much!
Glad y’all proved the square peg will fit in the round hole once again. Nice ride
That truck is going to look sweet.
The reason i never miss an episode......best representation of "built not bought" farming
Thanks for the show guys 🍻
Congratulations on the rebuild!
It would be nice if Tony would make those wheels shine like the stacks!
Excellent work guys
Another great project. Love how you guys work together and get it done.
WOW SURE DOES SOUNDS AMAZING.....Thanks Dad Scott and Nick.= GOD BLESS EVERYBODY.......
Old F-4 II Pilot in my 80's Shoe🇺🇸
Love the F4! Very cool.
Awesome video. Thank you guys
Looking good. Always better when you do it yourself. Love your videos and family.
Great to see it running
Sounds Mint!
Very nice guys! Sounding really good! Hope you are all doing well!
She sure sounds good. Should put jackstands under it so people like me don't whine about it. I hope your family and you stay safe and healthy.
Nick, Your "buddy" IS really cool. What a smile!
How exciting to see (BLUE STEEL) coming alive again. Keep up the great videos.
So PROUD of my Montana family. Much love from Ft. Worth, Texas...Kerry ❤

I personally use shell rotella and I love it
Great job guys. That truck is going to look awesome.
That is a fine looking and great running truck the Welkers put together.
Guys the most important thing is getting that Welker farms inc on the doors 😂
If the farming thing doesn’t work out, me thinks you could do well as mechanics. Well done!
Awesome video guy always so interesting. From down under in New Zealand
Bet Y'all went to bed with a large smile on your faces after hearing that Cat run. Awesome movie Gents.
Peg would be proud
She is alive. SHE IS ALIVE 🎉😊🎉
Outstanding job!
