Outstanding looking show, you bought my radial Lancaster ! I need to try and find that book. The temptation was probably on over drive, However your skill spotted some great purchases. Cheers and Thanks for sharing
@@ljscalemodels526 Unfortunately I didn't get a lot of time in the competition area as I had to leave fairly soon after it opened and I hadn't planned on leaving my bags outside the area entrance. Next time I'll know and take them to the car first.
Great seeing all these purchases,if I went to Telford I would definetly be broke by now, theres something for everyone. And I love the Modelcollect Fost of war Tanks so can’t wait to see that one!
Yes, I had to be very restrained! I wasn't generally tempted because many of the retailers are those with large web presences anyway - but the smaller sellers and the occasional bargain caught my eye :)
Some great purchases there,I went on the Saturday and it was crowded indeed, I didn't buy a kit but spent far too much on consumables and bits and pieces, I think next year I will go on the Sunday it looks a bit quieter,
Nice haul there. I like Rubicon kits, loads of options and a nice size. The king Tiger with full interior is very good. Done one Modelcollect kit, the Jagdtiger tracks were awful. The Wingleader books are so useful as a reference.
I do like the size of catallogue they have plus the range of subject matter. They also now cover Vietnam era. I live in hope of an Elephant release for German vehicles.
Greetings my friend, thst was a very good haul, all you have to do now, is get BUILDING, thanks for sharing this video, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia 👌👍👌👍👌👍
Hi my dear friend, Here I am. Some time ago I bought over fifty kit model! You have to resist the temptation not to buy too many things because they are really wonderful; there are also Spitfires and Lancasters of various sizes and brands that I will realised. I particularly like the "WW2 soldiers from Airfix. But above all I prefer the German models even than the Italian ones ... (I am from Italy, you know well). Ciao.
Some nice kits there mate. Have heard of an E50 and E100. But not heard of the E60. Those Rubicon kits do have decent detail for the smaller scale that they are.
I never knew that the Germans planned a "Saber-toothed Tiger" - so I guess it was supposed to be larger than a King Tiger? Anyway, looks like a great build and I hope you will film it! Happy modeling...
Tamiya cement is awful for Rubicon! Plastic Magic works perfectly. It's great on polystyrene too, although quite agressive. Sometime that's good! Also, Rubicon kits vary in quality. Older kits tend to have no track details. Some kits barely fit together, or turrets that collide with surface detail when they turn. Their Tiger I is awful in every way. The Warlord/Italeri is miles better. I'm building their new T-54 kit now, and it's a huge improvement. More parts to glue though. Another thing about Rubicon is there's so many options you end up doing hours of research to figure out which go together for what you had in mind. I'ts almost endless with some of their kits.
@@ModelNerd I'm willing to bet you'll be happy with the Plastic Magic. I sometimes use it to smooth out sandpapered surfaces. It's a great powerful solution.
Never discount wargaming scale! They can be pretty decent in terms of detail, I personally struggle with bigger kits, 28mm suits me fine. Perry Historicals are a favourite of mine, a hang over from my GW days, no knock to them of course.
I accidentally went to Star Trek convention dressed as Chewbacca...
It was a Wookie mistake.
Haha!
Furry nuff.
Was great to meet you whilst speaking to Jason Champion on Saturday 😁👍🏻
You too! Hope you had a great day.

Cheers! Wingleader publish some great books and at very fair prices. I could definitely have bought a LOT more.... :)
Hi Stu - some very nice stuff you got there. It was a brilliant weekend - packed on Saturday
It really was! I'll definitely be going again.
@@ModelNerd absolutely same here, fantastic turn out and the competition entries where stunning.

Great finds at the model show.

Was a Telford yesterday fantastic day and love you models you got. Sadly I didn't see you xx
Yes sorry, I was only there on Saturday. Great day.
@@ModelNerd I've send some more photos to you on your Instagram xx
Some cool additions and looking forward to seeing how you tackle them. Also thanks for some overview video of the show.
Thanks for watching!
Cool, cheers chap. I was a comp. judge at the Nats a long time ago. Good skills re the Sabre Tiger, totally made up tank. I fancy that one
Thanks. I need to think of a good camo scheme for that one.

Yes - it quietened down in the afternoon but Sunday is usually less crowded I believe
😎😎some very nice purchases there loved the Buffalo .
Thanks

Yes, I was tempted by the King Tiger with full interior, especially to see how it is in this scale!
It is very good. You can have it so you can open it up afterwards so unlike aircraft you can see the interior again! 🙂@@ModelNerd

It is very good and not like a 1/35 full interior!

Cheers! Absolutely - I've had a couple of really busy weeks that have almost stopped me from building, but I'm slowly getting back to it :)
Have a great build.

It's very easy to do that! I have way too many kits waiting to build.

Thanks. Yes, I think the E-60 is well into fictional space.
@@ModelNerd They had the E50, E75 and E100 in World of Tanks lol. But don't think they had a E60 in that game lol.
Good show on your haul!, sometimes I need dr mccoy sedative when I go to these shows, too much to take in!

I know what you mean! It can be quite overwhelming.

Thanks :)
Be good to see the Manchester conversion built👍
Yes, I'm really looking forward to it

Yes, I think this really is an extrapolation of the German plans. Should be a decent size too...
It's mostly fiction tbh.
@@JohnyG29 But there is a difference between being completely fictitious and being "only" theoretical - so which one do you think it was?
