This has probably been the most truthful Coney has been for these tiers in all of his tier lists.

On the pac-man one, as long as he gets back home he would stop being eyes and become coney again. So it’s survivable
A couple anecdotes:
- If a sound is loud enough, it can completely shred you up like paper, so you're probably not surviving Inkling. You'd have permanent hearing loss at the very least.
- Grand Cross probably wouldn't hurt if you're pure of heart. At worst you get bumped around in the coffin a whole bunch. But if you have any evil in there, those are energy crosses that pass through the coffin, so you're probably dead.
Another thing, The Killer Wail is also not just sound, it's also a pressurized ink laser. A custom version of it, The Princess Cannon, was used by Pearl to clash with another beam that would have wiped out an entire city in seconds if it made contact. It can also pierce through solid walls, beam and all, so, I'd say it could easily bore holes through a human.
Notably, they're energy "crosses" and the Belmonts fight creatures of the night. Unholy beasts. You can be a scummy person, as long as you are holy in the eyes of the lord, the Grand Cross would just be, at most, a minor concussion.
I feel like we should make a new genre of tier list called the “Coney catalog,” because at this point we’re just sorting things instead of ranking them.
Unironically a direct upgrade to normal tier lists
Idk why, I always expect coney to just do a normal tier list, then he begins adding his extra tiers for specific situations, then I go “oh yeah, it’s coney, I forgot”

We all know none of these final smashes would kill coney cause they would all miss due to how short he is
I have to know why Coney thinks being electrocuted puts you in a coma and this video was no help.
To be fair, there are multiple instances of people surviving being struck by lightning, it's legitimately a matter of luck.

Putting Joker in “I survive” is crazy when you get hit multiple times with axes, knives, metal pipes, katanas, etc. You are DEAD from that
Exactly like "Oh these are just some kids" when it's a bunch of teenagers in their prime using actual weapons. Like you survive that because of Sora tier copouts.
They're not real because Coney doesn't believe they're real.
They're model weapons it just works in Persona because they LOOK real.
@@cTrL64 if they can still use their personas, then their weapons will work the same as they do in the metaverse as well. Thats why jokers knives still does damage even if it is fake.

I disagree. The Phantom Thieves’ whole moto is that they DON’T KILL PEOPLE. That’s a huge point in the original game and in this scenario they won’t be going for a kill. Even against shadow versions of terrible people they don’t use lethal force.

To be fair to Joker's All Out Attack, that "Show's Over" flurrish only appears if the opponent has been killed by the attack. So by its very nature, it has to kill you.
No, it just kills in Persona because the weapons look real. In reality they're just model weapons.
@@cTrL64 Since Joker is in uniform, he's not in reality. The thief attire only manifests in the Metaverse. Doubly true since he can access Arsene. So the weapons are fully functional here.
But does the final smash only appear if the opponent has been killed?

I don’t know if this is new, but props to the editor for their use of music. I love it coming in during the final smashes then cutting out when Coney starts talking. Thank you Quinn, very cool 👍

@LimaBravoCharlie Either Vent or Aile from Mega Man ZX. By being strict, we exclude the other as only one can merge with the Biometal X per playthrough, and the other Mega Men (defined in ZX as "those who can Megamerge with the Biometals).
I also genuinely forgot about OVER-1, but he is never explicitly referred to as a Mega Man in any canonical context, so the strict definition would also exclude him

@bulb9970 As they haven't gotten video game appearances, they are thankfully exempt from Smash participation. Bad Box Art Mega Man, as seen in Street Fighter X Tekken, has more validity to be in the Final Smash.

coney’s point about ness’s smash is actually very valid. there was a case where a lady got hit by a meteor in her sleep and SURVIVED. depending on the real-life scale of ness’s meteors, there is a chance that you could survive. + they are possible to avoid even if it’s pretty hard

I think the best part of this video is that Ken, Meta Knight, Wii Fit, and a couple others are skipped, and a decent few Final Smashes he doesn't fully understand what happened.

2:41 Rex also shows up as their battle start animation, where he hands them their weapon. He also appears during their up taunt, which involves both Pyra and Mythra having different reactions to Rex appearing and cheering for them.

@@lylelylecrocodile2538Rex only loading in for 5 pre-determined animations is different than being a full-fledged fighter with 30+ animations running at 60 FPS with varying levels of expressions, moves, assets, etc. moving alongside Pyra/Mythra, characters with equal amounts of design complexities and detail
So he dies via poor infrastructure, but not to magic Pegasus tackling him at light speed. About what I'd expect.

The thing about some of the final Smashes like Ryu is that as a martial artist he isn't hitting to kill. You'd be hurt and maybe he collapsed a lung and broke all your ribs BUT you're still alive.
This has got to be one of the funniest and most honest "would i survive" tier lists. Like the only youtuber to take a loss of limbs, brain damage, etc, into account
My favorite part of this list is when Coney said "It's Coney time" and Coneyed all over the tier list.

2:36 Rex is in the final smash because Pyra and Mythra are cosmically linked to Rex, and their special moves require him in Xenoblade 2 so he’s here for lore purposes.
As strong as the aegis is, all blades' abilities are stronger when utilized by their driver as well. They mention it with Morag and Brighid, and how Brighid goes from "really powerful" to "wins medium-scale battles" with Morag using her weapon, or something along those lines

Shulk's Monado sword actually doesn't hurt humans so you'd actually be fine, cause it doesn't look like the other characters are even really hitting you
The Monado Shulk uses is the Monado 1. If it was Monado 2 then it could kill people.
Coney Megaman has to obey the rule of robotics and he can't hurt a human.
You survive the Wii U version but Bass will kill you in Ultimate.
Megaman doesn't take place in our world though, so we don't know if those rules exist in the same way

I think at the very least Volnutt exists so far in the future none of his kind obeys those laws

My favorite part about Sephiroth's Supernova is it literally cannot kill you in the english version of the original game, it just deals a percentage of your current HP and inflicts some debuffs.

Supernova only kills you, it's not AOE. Sephiroth cares about the world so he teleports you to a parallel universe and destroys that universe's solar system with the Big Fuck You Laser. Common misconception

The Monado can't hurt humans, but you get poisoned by Riki and stabbed a lot. Probably Hospitalization or dead.

You would never survive a Shin Shoryuken from Ryu as it's been proven with dummies that were hit with the same force that lifts you up that far and fast will literally tear your head off. If it hit the chest, you could possibly survive albeit very injured depending on where your hit.
I appreciate the Incineroar tier in particular. He knows how to work safe.

Wild Gunman was a game where you were dueling a bunch of outlaws. While you would trickshot most of them to get them to surrender (the Mexican Poncho Guy just straight got headshot though), they would shoot to kill and totally killed you.
Corrin's final smash is just Schlitterbahn.
I mean, water is definitely dangerous - especially if it’s a tornado going at this kind of speed. Their Final Smash would definitely fuck me up with the pressure. That shit could probably cut through metal
@@raggens We don't know exactly how fast the water is moving. If anything, the most dangerous part of the whole thing is the height of which the opponent is suspended in the air.

To back up the ranking of Sora's Final Smash, he is presumably just sealing someone in another dimension/world, which, in Smash and Kingdom Hearts' context, is perfectly survivable. Keyblade wielders do have a lethal light beam killshot that doesn't care what's going on in your heart (confirmed by a mobile game), but that is not what Sora uses.
I honestly feel like somebody chickened out here, because there's no way the scene of Sora shooting Xemnas or Xehanort couldn't have come up as an FS contender. It's too obvious.

Yeah but he doesn't like to kill tho. In fact I believe Shin Shoryuken is specifically designed by Ryu to be a non-lethal Metsu Shoryuken (because, if I recall correctly, THAT'S the one that kills you and that's what gave Sagat his scar).
Ryu actually belongs in "Mario Would Never" tier and I think it's increasingly funny if we keep adding people to that tier but continue to call out Mario in the tier name.

Actually insane to put joker in “I survive” when he stabbed you more times than Julius Ceasar. It doesn’t matter if most of the stabs are survivable because one of those stabs will statistically puncture something important

The killer whale (inkling finals mash) is more like a game theory of, if it kills you. How do we make sound visible, and how sound is it when visible. The Smash bro version is an idk, but the splatoon version is very powerful. It was even able to push back a goo beam. idk what it actually is.

At this point, Coney is notorious for adding extra tiers to a list to justify his opinion about every individual character, instead of just actually thinking of proper categories to put characters in for the appropriate criteria.
What I’ve learned from this tier list is that Luigi is at least 3 times as powerful as Sephiroth
