“Here is my yoga mat - I don’t do yoga, but I do sometimes lie on the mat” As always Rachel- you are so relatable! Fantastic video - congratulations on the 100k subscriber trophy.
@@RachelKCollierRKC Bouldering mats, especially the hinged/folding types, make great seats when half-opened and put on the floor with the "back" against a wall. Easy to store too, especially the thinner types (you can even get a simple wooden frame to turn it into a proper seat). All the best!
This setup encompasses everything an artist would ever need. And I really like the changeable vibe as well, looking forward to more videos within that room!
Ahhh that new studio vibe! You get to implement all the thoughts you've had for so long. Then you get to see it all right there in front of you. SUCH a good feeling! Very cool layout. I'm excited to hear all the new tunes that will flow out of that place!
Omg this desk is a dream! My spine will be grateful forever!!! Is amazing the possibility to produce standing up instead of being sat all the time.. Send it to this fan here in Portugal 🤗
I love the crossovers between electornic/ableton production + guitar stuff + synth world stuff. Loving primarily in the last one these days (but floating between them all) I saw a lot of a "Yep I know what this!" and its great to see someone exploring all the different spaces.
I love how your studio has evolved over time, from a cute living room feel to a funky duel purpose work space with lighting effect. The fluffy panels are a great idea 💡
This is the most incredible studio I've ever seen! You are an inspiration to us all! I've been dying to get a standing desk, especially since it's so difficult to sing with good breath support while sitting during my livestreams. 💕
It's always amazing to see a producers setup because it always revolves around their vibe and workflow. The standing desk is a gamechanger haha. Can't wait to hear and see what new stuff this inspires!
Really nice studio setup. After playing in my 20's and 30's I took a decade long hiatus from music and over the last year have started again. There's so much stuff though. It can be overwhelming in what to choose. I love the Juno mini and the other little Roland.
I was just thinking yesterday, "I wonder when Rachel's going to release a 2021 studio to tour video?" And you totally delivered! Thanks for inviting us into your world again!
Wow, Rachel! You all did an amazing job with the renovation and the the new studio build! So much incredible stuff in there, and the whole thing looks to be setup for maximum creativity and productivity. I know how proud you must feel of the new space, having put in all of that time and energy to fully gut the space and rebuild the whole thing from the ground up -- it is truly *your* space, and is steeped in the love and energy that you and your dad (and your cousin) poured into the project. What a wonderful thing to have had the opportunity to work with your dad to custom build such a special space to spend your time and create your art! That custom diffuser is top-notch! Totally functional art! :) Oh, and congratulations on the 100k RUclips Silver Creator Award! That's awesome, and I know it's only a matter of time before you get to hang a gold award, and then a diamond award, on the wall as well! I'm so incredibly grateful, as I'm sure we all are, for your willingness to share, not only your art, but also your workflow, your "behind the scenes" insights, and all of your endless encouragement with all of us. You are truly an inspiration, and, undoubtedly, a creative force to be reckoned with! Thank you *so much* for all that you do! I can't wait to hear all of the incredible creations that I am sure are soon to come from working in the new space! Looking forward to whatever comes next!
Absolutely brilliant ! A true testament to all your talent and amazing work. Keep it up Rachel, continue doing the world a favour and don’t stop inspiring and creating art.
So cool to see more and more “nerd girls” - girls into tech whether in art, music, science or whatnot - u rock and I bet u make ur dad so so proud ! Keep making music and more important share it to inspire more girls to nerd-out and get involved. Standing ovation! Really.
The equipment setup is made more than awesome by the custom living room-studio that you and Dad/cousin personally built for it. The custom diffuser takes the prize for best in show!
For me It is always fun to watch other people's studio setup, specially for the artists/producers I follow. It is kind like seeing a little deeper into their personality, getting to know them better and understanding their workflow and getting inspired. So thanks for this video. Anyway, despite me having an amateurish approach as a hobbyist producer, synth collector of vintage equipment and analog modular stuff I found that it made a big difference to my setup the incorporation of patch bays. I try to keep all cable routing as fixed as possible thus avoiding to change connections. It helps me to keep my focus on the workflow when I sit In front of the DAW.
Great job on the diffuser and congrats on the new studio space - I bet the stained glass window looks funky from the outside when you're in full on disco mode :)
Studio of my dreams too. Absolutely amazing! Some very useful tips for anyone else planning their setup. You need a scratch pole for your cat to keep it away from your kit!
I'm so envious of your new space Rachel :) My studio looked like this for probably a week... and it's a major mess ever since, and it's been 8 years since it's been built :D
Nice Studio!!!! It's always best when you can have your own hand in there build along with having someone like your dad to help you accomplish such an awesome spot for making music!!! Cheers and hats off to you both!!!!!!
Very nice studio! I love the acoustic treatment, and cat Prince has immortalized a very beautiful cattish art form in the bass trap 😸. Super lovely desk. Congratulations on your new studio it looks very beautiful!!👋
Looks and sounds amazing! Hard work pays off. Love how you turned the living room in to the studio!.....some day, oh yes some day I will have a living room studio. 🙏😊
Amazing studio. Exactly what I dream of. Dedicated room with lots of (day) light and synths I can't afford. Glad you still have the Microfreak. Your song and video about microfreaking out was what made me buy it as my first hardware synth.
Cool. I'm currently in the process of converting the room I used as a studio for my daughters bedroom, so I'm going to be creating a new space for myself haha. I also use sonarworks calibration so aside from making some acoustic panels I'm not too worried about the sound being off.
It's great to see, that your dream came true! Surely, studio is a constantly evolving "creature", but it certainly is in the state of full-functioning workspace.
Obviously, I would like to get the desk but it's also a good time to say that you're absolutely fabulous. You talk smart and calming and it is always so pleasing to learn new stuff from someone so competent yet very humble. Love from Serbia.
Hi, you're my hero. Also your studio subtly has $20k worth of equipment, all seem to be carefully chosen and serve a purpose. But the work you put in to build it, and produce music on a daily basis is why youre my hero. I have a shared studio space and a modest setup that I'm building...got the prophet rev 2 a couple of weeks ago which is how I found your channel. So dope, keep inspiring.
Fantastic room. As it WILL be a problem, running an air purifier or dehumidifier helps reduce dust in your studio, so you won't have to clean as often. Love the standing desk too. Live in Sydney AU, so not sure if that counts me out!
Your studio looks so amazing and fresh! I love the use of pale colours on the walls. It gives a very welcoming feeling. The night mode and neon sign are sick as hell! And plus the collection of synths you have is just wow!!! 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Hi Rachel, loving the new studio and congrats on the silver play button (expecting mine soon!). I was actually teaching cello and bass (I'm more into ukulele now) when you were in Bishop Gore so it is fantastic to see how well you are doing. Loving all the Ableton stuff as we are about to go down that route in school in Pontardawe. Best wishes and keep grooving, Rachel Webley.
love how the studio came out! I'm trying to do something similar, find a fix me upper house that i can take an extra room and turn it into my studio for music and video, maybe some light gaming. I work road construction, which gives me about 4 months off every winter to go back to my original passion of music. not having a proper way to set up all my equipment really boggles down my creativity. *edit* the wood sound treatment piece came out so good! Also huge synth rack omg! I'm building one that hangs off my wall above my laptop mount, tho they will be just placed up there and i will have to take them down to use them.
Such a GREAT studio room!!! Very inspiring lights, colors and furniture. I will definitely rip-off some ideas to my own studio (which is under construction).
I love the lights in your studio - the lights set the mood for music making. Awesome setup and a lot to work with. Loving the standing desk - will help me a lot considering I'm starting to spend more and more time at my desk. Keep up the good job.

Fantastic video - congratulations on the 100k subscriber trophy.
Agree. So relatable and full on nerd. I love it. Looks like things are going well for her as well, which is deserved for such a talented person.
😂😂😂 Thanks Rob! What can I say, it's a comfy mat. lol

Love the idea of adding a patchbay and of course having all those amazing synths just setup and ready to play with 😊

What a setup and studio. Super jealous! Not to mention that gorgeous kitchen :O
I love how your studio has evolved over time, from a cute living room feel to a funky duel purpose work space with lighting effect.
The fluffy panels are a great idea 💡
The studio is amazing and the music coming out of it is really fantastic!
Such a beautiful studio!! And insane respect for how much of it was built from the ground up with your dad!!!!
Looks fabulous Rach! Looking forward to some great music coming out of there.
Thanks Pat! Working on it!
Awesome setup from an awesome artist! Thank you for your gift of creating what no one else can. Keeps me smiling!
This is the most incredible studio I've ever seen! You are an inspiration to us all! I've been dying to get a standing desk, especially since it's so difficult to sing with good breath support while sitting during my livestreams. 💕
Thank you. Yes! Sitting down and singing is not the best -
Really nice setup. Like the idea of having a proper keyboard stand and standing desk.
It's always amazing to see a producers setup because it always revolves around their vibe and workflow. The standing desk is a gamechanger haha. Can't wait to hear and see what new stuff this inspires!
That homemade diffuser is beautiful. Also can't believe how much better the room looks compared to when you moved in.
Love how your space has evolved with you. Now if there was more acoustic percussion I could work and sleep in a studio like that.
It's so amazing to see a creative workspace, to see where the magic happens!!

The most honest and natural person on RUclips so far, awesome setup!!
Wonderful setup. Congratulations on having your dream studio. Best wishes for your musical journey.
13:25 Love how RKC delivers that bit of vocal improv like it ain't a thing while I'm replaying it over and over
Blimey. I never thought about an adjustable desk. Simple but makes a massive difference to sitting in a chair all day messing with gadgets and keys.

Nice upgrades Rachel, remember watching your studio tour few years ago. You are winning 🏆
Wow I've been wanting one of these desks for a long time. That's so good to make production healthier, and hopefully better in the long run
That stained glass window and pink gradient diffuser really give your studio awesome vibes! So jealous of the seaside walkway, too!

Awesome studio all in all.

Always good watching a studio tour. Even better watching a female producer go to work. Please keep up the good work.
Wow, what an inspiring room and lots of work put in, not easy - happy producing 🎉
The Touché is one of my fave pieces of gear! Working on another vid for that one... Thanks for the tour here RKC!

Great job Rachel. Looks amazing. I’m about to build my own studio in my barn. Hope it turns out as good as yours. Enjoy!

REspect Rachel. Inspirational and sincere passion. The way you pronounce " Here" is extraordinary!!
You've done a great job uplifting this space Rachel!
