First Take has been known for unfortunately editing vocals post production and having filters in their mics and the trained ear can hear the smoothing in the girl’s video. While it’s still very good because they are incredible vocalists, the It’s Live version sounds much more raw and you can hear the emotion in their voices with a lot more clarity, and it’s done with a live band instead of the studio track. Plus Chisa really goes off at the bridge and ending because being with a live band really energizes and excites her and you can hear it, and without the vocal smoothing you can hear all of Juria’s vibrato in her falsetto notes at the end so much better.
As far as actual XG tracks that shows off their vocal line, I’d offer up Left Right next. But if you’re looking for unbelievable cover song, definitely check out their cover of Flo’s Losing You. That cover really showcases Chisa, Hinata, and Juria.
