Most of her interviews are cool and collected, while the fire stays just below the surface, this is the first interview I've heard where the Fire is blazing for all to see (or hear). She was a great talent and a great person. She could convince you she was any personality, one movie to the next, I think it was her greatest quality, her range.
One of the interviewers was my father Peter Duval Smith who was married to my mother for a while novelist Jill Neville and who was a producer for the BBC before going on to becoming a war correspondent and tragically killed in Vietnam in 1967 RIP Dad❤
I wish I could link her comments at 9:18 thru 10:00 to every tired "Feud" related fan thread insisting on putting two iconic actresses in a perpetual cage match. Ironically, Hollywood got its way, perpetuating "the row " that never existed 30+ years after both women were deceased.
This is a wonderful interview. I love the honesty and how Bette Davis is speaking her mind. She was a very intelligent person.
In Hollywood, she has the greatest mind among actors.

He was very talented. What a spirited interview this is! I'm sorry that your family had to go through that.

How wonderful! Your Father seemed a lovely man. ❤
And PS, Blessings to you and prayers. He died a hero, my dear. ❤🙏🙏
I love how she roars and shouts her way through this interview. I can imagine the cumulous cloud of angry cigarette smoke she pumped out in that room.
