I'm not too familiar with other DAWs but I can tell the workflow in Reason is special, and now that I am fluent with it I am very fast at getting things I want done - done. Less time fiddling, more time getting ideas down!!
I just finished producing and mixing an album completely in Reason 7. I mastered in ableton because i like the stock eq and wanted a vst clipper. Edit: oh yeah, and OTT
Thank you for sharing this and i am loving this series so far. I honestly love how Reason has improved workflow in R13 and i also agree that every DAW is designed to be unique so everyone should just stick to what works for them because it's possible to Produce quality Music in basically any DAW if you know what you are doing.
