- ABG stands for Arterial Blood Gas, which is a test that measures the acidity (pH) and the levels of oxygen (O2) and carbon dioxide (CO2) in the blood from an artery.

Normal values for ABG vary slightly depending on the laboratory and the patient's condition, but here are generally accepted normal ranges:
pH: 7.35 to 7.45
pH measures the acidity or alkalinity of the blood. A pH below 7.35 is considered acidic, while a pH above 7.45 is considered alkaline.
Partial Pressure of Oxygen (PaO2): 75 to 100 mmHg
PaO2 measures the pressure of oxygen dissolved in the blood. It reflects how well oxygen is able to move from the lungs to the blood.
Partial Pressure of Carbon Dioxide (PaCO2): 35 to 45 mmHg
PaCO2 measures the pressure of carbon dioxide dissolved in the blood. It reflects how well carbon dioxide is able to move from the blood into the lungs to be exhaled.
Bicarbonate (HCO3-): 22 to 26 mEq/L
Bicarbonate is a base (alkaline) that helps buffer acids in the blood. It is regulated by the kidneys and helps maintain the blood's pH.
Oxygen Saturation (SaO2): 95% to 100%
SaO2 measures the percentage of hemoglobin saturated with oxygen in arterial blood.
It's important to note that these values can vary slightly depending on factors such as altitude, age, and certain medical conditions. Interpretation of ABG results should be done in conjunction with the patient's clinical condition and other laboratory tests.

Sir Sirf Bicarb &PCO2 Increase ho to kiya bolengen
Respiratory Acidosis
What about po2
Pco2 low hai ph normal hai kuch problem hota kya?
Consult a Doctor.
Sir patient ko sodabiocarb kab deta ha
Sodium Bicarbonate Injection may be indicated in the treatment of metabolic acidosis which can occur in severe renal disease, uncontrolled diabetes, circulatory insufficiency due to shock, anoxia or severe dehydration, extracorporeal circulation of blood and severe primary lactic acidosis.
If. PH is normal........paCO2 increase. And. Hco3 also increase........what will be ????
If the pH is normal, paCO2 is increased, and HCO3 is increased, it suggests a mixed respiratory and metabolic alkalosis.

Tell me please decrease and increase term for HC03 and BE base excess?
An increased BE (more positive value) is consistent with an alkalotic process (either gain of bicarbonate or loss of acid). A decreased BE (more negative value), also known as a base deficit, represents an acidotic process.
Bicarbonate (HCO3-) and base excess (BE) are both indicators of the body's metabolic acid-base status. HCO3- is measured in blood samples, while BE measures all bases in a sample of oxygenated whole blood. A normal BE is between -3 and +3, and a normal HCO3- concentration is when the reduction in negative charges due to hypoalbuminemia is equal to the increase in chloride.
Normal pH value of blood is 7.35 - 7.45 but in video the value is different... Thanks me later👍
It varies from different sources and books. Basically it is from 7.3 to 7.4 ... some write 7.34 and some write 7.35 but there is not a big difference.
