Hi Crochet Friends!
It's all about the classic shawl this week. With Spring in the air, shawls are a great crochet project to work on. They give you just enough coverage without overheating you. And this particular design is one that we are revisiting so that you can hopefully have a better understanding of the construction of this shawl shape. The FAROESE shawl is most commonly seen in knitted form as this was how it was originally created. The design allows for it to drape beautiful and securely over the shoulders. *** Please note: there is a correction for row 19. In the video I say you should have 192 sts but in fact you should have 232 sts. Up to row 4, your wings will increase by 5 but after row 4, you will increase by 6 sts on each wing. This will be reflect in the written pattern coming out soon!
