We're going to take a deeper look at the Mystical Lantern Motif today. I actaully don;t know why it's called a Mystical Lantern when it really looks more like an Eye to me, so sometimes you'll hear me use these terms interchangeably. I created this vieo so that you had something that you could go to directly to just focua on the motif itself. Then you can decied what you'd like to create with it.

Hi Karen, can you make this motif into an evil eye, BUT with a
👉🏻 #filetstitch 👈🏻 around it. Instead of such a dense stitch around it. I think the filet stitch will allow the 👁 #crochetevileye 👁 to be more pronounced... Thank you for this #crochettutorial 👉🏻 🫶🏻 👈🏻

Hi! Yes, technically with all the chain spaces stitches in this one you will get a filet effect but you would want to use fingering weight yarn.👍 not sure how it would work out with a bulky yarn but you could give that a try;)
