Yes, I too was guilty of this in past and then started to look to see how they came up with the payload and started researching more more, just as it’s called security researcher (Bug Hunter)

This is the same throughout the industry not just with compromised targets. Take exams like OSCP, so many people online just wanting the end state answers to each box.
We aren’t educating red team(ers) the right way. Stop saying read this 300 page guide, we need training that teaches from the ground up, not just expecting the end state to be obvious.
