I've seen many cities in Colombia, and Bucaramanga is now my favorite. It is an awesome city. I visited Chicamocha, Mesa de los Santos, the Santisimo, Giron, etc. Loved it all.

It's always been a well-put-together city compared to many others in Colombia. I lived there 35 years ago and when I had to visit other cities it was often a big come-down when it came to parks, sidewalks, and traffic.
