It’s really the way people antagonize and demonize dark skin without realizing it. If a dark skin person simply looks neutral and doesn’t always have a big smile on their face 24/7 or isn’t being overly nice, it’s as though they’re not allowed to be human.

I agree, you can tell she is a sweet girl.. I think the casting director was just looking for something to complain about. He softly says hey, she doesn't see or notice because the environment is noisy. After all, she was told by a member of the director's team to go stand at the back. And he without even making an attempt to get within her line of site. To ask a clear question. Just gets on the phone to complain with the purpose of destroying her reputation. "Ah, the revenge of the narcissist". All this for a job that pays nothing. It's sad really, first they exploit her and then they damage her future earnings with slander.
