10,568 actual miles, 1 owner until 2021! Truly a survivor, all original. We acquired it from "Monte Mike", a serious Monte Carlo collector. The original owner never married; this was his weekend date night car. He cherished it, he even waxed the door jambs! In 1996 he went into assisted living and the car was parked in climate-controlled storage until he passed in 2021.
Documents: Invoice, window sticker, warranty booklet, original title copy, tax form, pre-delivery inspection, order form, salesman's card and more.
EXTERIOR: It's amazing that this car is unrestored and looks this good. It's ready to be entered in any car show today. The body is clean and straight with no rust or damage. The original metal is still wearing its original paint. It still has a glossy finish, there are only a few minor flaws. The original chrome and trim still shows very well. It still has the vintage wind deflector which is removable. The glass is crystal clear but does have one small chip on the windshield. The original vinyl top still in very good shape. He ordered it with 15 inch rally wheels, they're in excellent shape. The tires were replaced once. The jambs are clean, weatherstrips are still soft.
INTERIOR: It could pass for new inside and it is 100% original. It's not worn, faded, or cracked. No mice, no foul smells. Not smoked in, the lighter and ashtrays were not used. The dash area is mint, chrome vents still shine. It has original radio, no modifications. The original floor mats are still in excellent shape.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: He ordered the 350 with a 4barrel carb, it runs great. This is a very nice example of what a preserved survivor looks like. It's never been spray painted or restored. It's all intact down to the vacuum hoses, heat riser tube, spark plug heat shields etc. A few maintenance items have been replaced- battery, alternator, and master cylinder. It features power steering, power brakes and factory air conditioning.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is amazing, all original and shows like new. The original factory spatter finish is immaculate. The original gray felt mat looks new. The original weatherstrip is soft and still has the centering mark at the top. It has an original tire and rally wheel spare. The jack looks like it's never been used. Under the trunk lid looks nice, still has original sticker.
UNDERSIDE: Of course, it's not glossy and glamorous, it is all original! It is rock solid and proper. It was ordered with the special suspension which included front and rear swaybars. It still has its original spiral shocks! It still has its original dual exhaust system too. It has disc brakes in front. Bottom of the motor is original including the starter. It has its original Turbo 350 automatic. In back is the special ordered 3.42 posi rear end.
Conclusion: Aside from being an incredible time capsule, it's a cool car. It has handsome body lines. The V rear window is unique. He ordered it with some performance including 4 bbl, duals, posi and special suspension. A car can be restored over and over, it can be original only once!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.

What was the price ?
We used to own a ‘73 Monte back in the days, during my jr. high. Classy stunning, with white and light blue top. Running flawless, you can’t hear anything. Solid body, chassis. Simple engine few wirings and cable, I wouldn’t mind having one today, reminisce the past.
The most beautiful Monte Carlo I have ever seen. Big 73 Monte fan here!🔥💪
What a gorgeous example from 1973, It always makes me a little sad when you say the owner passed away, I think about all the memories he must have had while driving this classic. I wonder what he would think if he could see this video thanks Jay.
One of my fav yrs for the Monte Carlo. This one looks brand new 😮 Not surprised it sold immediately.
WOW thats sweet...
Best year monte carlo
Have 2 1973 with factory 454s and 1 of them with factory power sunroof.
THIS 73 MONTE CARLO IS A REAL BEAUTY. LOVE THE GIANT BUMPER GUARDS. MAKES THE FRONT END LOOK TOUGH. ALSO LIKE THE HUGE SHINY BUMPERS
Thanks for the memories. When I was 16 my dad purchased a new 1973 Monte Carlo in the same exact colors. The only difference was his had different wheels. What a great find! Beautiful car!
Thanks for sharing!
The original owner must have been a Green Bay Packer fan with those colors. Nice car 🚗
Better then a Purple and Gold Vikings fan car!
Wow! Not much I can write but that... what an exceptional Monte Carlo... the color I've never seen but it is exceptionally beautiful and the entire interior as well... it's simply stunning. No wonder it sold in less than 2 hours (wish I could have seen the asking price -- not to be snoopy just to get an understanding of what this particular survivor-type vehicle would go for). Thanks for posting!!
Owned 3 Monty's never even got to see the price Sold

Beautiful car, i owned a '73 Monte Carlo with the swivel seats
Wowee, that's a Luxurious old Beauty.! I was a dealership mechanic from 1980 to 87 and had only seen a few well-maintained classics. The Monte Carlo was an upgrade over the Chevelle models at that time.
