That fox looks like he knows the crow will tug his tail if he lets his guard down 😄👍💕

I was worried about the youngster(s) of my windowsillfriend this year because of the cold that hit so late. The female was not seen for weeks on end and when she came to eat alone I was shure the youngster did not make it this year.
I was soo happy when I heard the begging of a fledgling on my windowsill. I rushed to watch and saw Father and Kid sitting there in my window. 🥰
Just now all 3 are sitting opposite of my window. I feel so honored to get the trust of these awesome creatures. The more it makes me sad I have to move soon because I cannot afford this flat any longer and I will sadly have to disapoint them soon. 😢😭😖😣

Hi Alexandra, thank you for your video. Weve had a seagull nest on my neighbours roof, she was taking all the birds food and bossing my crows away. My husband came up with the idea of walking across to Stormont Estate across the road to feed them. It only took one day for them to realise what we were doing, they're so clever!

Such a cool neighborhood if critters. Seems like the fox is behaving because he knows he can get some nibbles from the food that the birds miss.😄🥰❤

Last years young are getting pushed out from nests now as parents haven't enough food for the new young . What a beautiful time of the year so much noise in the mornings from the birds ❤❤

Very nice video, even though a little bit on sad side.
    Thank you, Alexandra. 👍
Most probably, it was an aerial predator, like an owl for example. How you noticed any in the area?
I don't think it was a fox, although I have seen a fox on the tree, ones or twice... but that was the easy climb for him.
I hope, your feathered friends will have better luck choosing a safer nesting place next year. 🤞
I'm looking forward for the next video. 🍻

Krari and Kruu are a wonderful pair of crows. Congratulations on your valuable video! You live in a friendly place, where the fox can roam the parking lot undisturbed for a long time...

My crows also don't have young ones this year. Maybe you remember, I live in the North of Berlin. Was it too cold in May? P.S.: Saw you and Krari on ARTE 😁

No Youngster could have been the cold and wet spring maybe? Or another animal climbed up and ate the young? Nature is so very tough.

In my neighborhood, four crow families of six are without chicks this year. One of them appears to have made a second attempt.
Other families have fewer chicks than usual. Apparently not a very successful season for crows this year.

It's pretty similar here where I live, very few young crows, comparing last years 😞

My crow friend doesn't seem to be raising fledglings this year either. Strange. He does not seem that desperate for food compared to last year, and when he joins me on my dog walks he is most often accompanied by his partner, who keeps a bit more distance than him. Frolic - they love the "Frolic" dog food, which I use as treats for my dog...

What's going on with the crow offspring this year? Also, my hooded crow couple always flew towards the nest to feed the offspring and suddenly they gave up and both made themselves comfortable on my terrace again and apart from eating, relaxing and sunbathing next to me, there was no more bringing food towards the nest. As you say, the pair will now have a relaxed summer. DINK... Double income no kids... lol. although they must have suffered a trauma from losing their offspring. Now I read in the comments that other crow fans have also had the experience that there were no crow offsprings this year. Hopefully there is not some kind of disease on the way. I am now looking forward to the summer with my loyal friends ChiChi and CoCo. Many greetings to all crow enthusiasts from Vienna.

Let's hope this is all part of the natural balance and not some kind of disease, that would be awful!

OMG they need couple therapy now after the deaths of their offspring. Kruu takes it out on him for not doing something he probably couldn't do which was to save the kids, and he tells her off. Sound familiar? Also, how about that fox coincidence 😀

I personally do not like foxes, a lot of them tend to spread parasites, especially Echinococcus multilocuralis, which is deadly, if untreated and it usually is because of the long incubation period.

    • @KrariTheCrow
      @KrariTheCrow  10 дней назад

Echinococcus multilocuralis is transmitted through poop. It is very unlikely that someone in the city would touch fox poop. I haven't heard of any infections in my area in the last years.

❤ watching Krari & Kru. 😞 about the 🪺. Very upsetting for them having their 🐥 killed. A lot of work goes into all the work
