One from my Universe Mode is having R-Truth be the first ECW Champion. He one it in a Fatal 4 Way match at Clash of Champions when I was planning on having Alester Black win. The first ECW after Clash of Champions, I had him defend it in an open challenge against Harper. Harper won the title and is going to head into my Extreme Rules PPV as champion to take on New Day with his partners Black and Eric Young. I shouldn't have put Truth in the match and put Harper in instead. But this could've also been because of Harper's passing in 2020 which was the reason I wanted to give him a push but I didn't ant Truth as the champion from the start.
I will always believe that Gargano should have had a longer reign, nobody can change my mind on that. Reigns should have won on kor but honestly the Walter attack felt confusing on the moment, still I hoped he could win the rumble and challenge reigns at mania. But honestly the worst regret to me is the treatment of Brian cage, to me far worst than Tyler bate. Cage debuted as still not pinned and felt like the next big thing, but then he just disappeared for no reason
Cage is out with an injury sustained during his Unsanctioned Match with Cobb just before the Rumble, and will have to serve a suspension on top of that once he's cleared to compete. The candle did not need to burn quickly with Cage imo, and once he's back, I'm sure he'll be lining up a long, long list to run through, just how he did in NXT. Sidebar: He was supposed to face Joe at Survivor Series, but 2K20 being 2K20 prevented that match from taking place.
For the KOR thing, I think I prefer what we got over KOR winning the title, it got Reigns some good heat and Walter had a pretty great match with Kyle. if I were booking it though, (which I'm not, just some fantasy booking) I probably would've went for the feel good ending followed by the Walter attack, which would've lead to Kyle losing the belt soon after, probably make a long term story out of it, have Kyle win the rumble and then face either Walter or Reigns at mania depending on who I would've had champ by then. But yeah, I feel what we got was the right choice, though I understand why there'd be regrets about it.
It's a situation where either way, we got something good out of it. Reigns has been awesome, O'Reilly winning would've been awesome. Just don't know how the latter would've turned out, and that's what makes me regret it.
I have a regret for you despite being new to your Universe & that is definitely Coren not being a champion right now. He just screams champion, no matter what he is doing & I haven’t even seen all of what he is capable of. 🤙🏾
Well he's already got two title reigns to his name, one of them being the longest NXT Title reign. He's in a great boat right now, where he doesn't need a title to be massive.
Biggest regret while watching I would say is having rhea win the battle royal after RR. I would have liked it better if gabert had won. If gabert had won would have made her look more dominant going in. I also think she and ripley should have been final two for it to be more dramatic and better story. I still think we are getting a trifecta triple threat at mania. I said it one of the livestreams and im sticking to it.
That BR really was just building hype for the Rumble for me and nothing more. Plus Rhea has been unstoppable since joining RAW, so having her spontaneously lose a BR before she wins the Rumble is questionable to me. I also think Gabert was already dominant enough based on name value alone (and being in Trifecta) and she proved her dominance in the Rumble, by eliminating the most people. I considered them being the final two but wasn't big on it, felt too predictable and safe for me, wanted to throw a few curveballs in instead.
I kind of wished you put the ecw title on omega on summerslam 2k18 yes Johnny winning was great but I feel like omega could have been the one at the time from rollins.
Only real response I can think to that is; Imagine Omega breaking a really good reign. Now imagine Gargano breaking THE reign. Omega just beats Rollins while he's having a good reign, but Gargano beats that after Rollins has shattered every record there is to beat and more then carved his own legacy. Gargano making Rollins tap out, one day short of two years, after he's broken every single record there is to break, is better than Omega winning that belt, I assure you.
@@PROJAKED true but rollins reigns were stale after summerslam 2k18 against omega and his matches were obvious they he was winning I.e Neville vs rollins 2019. And until EC that's where I thought johnny would win but it makes sense for Johnny winning then omega
Not in 2k18 and 19 but I wished Kenny omega and young bucks didn’t join the bullet club and I also didn’t like the bullet club Because every single dam time you keep praising the bullet club JDL did it with the NWo while it was annoying it was pretty funny and the whole jinder mahal winning the world title was just confusing. Perhaps the worst booked world champion I still luv u though :3
I agree with you on BC, by the end I was looking forward to the end of it. As for Mahal, oh yeah he was supposed to be a crap World Champ on purpose, but perhaps the reign went just a little too long.
