I absolutely love this format, watching the three of you discussing watches like this actually kind of reminds me of the old Top Gear. Patek is the pinnacle for me. My favorite watch is a VC but overall patek is the best.
There's no doubt Patek Philippe is the most prestigious brand in the industry. But best is arguable 😜🙌
Roman's hoodie is a Thumbs Up, The new line up is OK with that World Timer being the Star of the release. Also agree that the Lefty will be a big deal due to it being likely very limited

I think people just focus more on the complicated pieces like the 5373P and the 5240G over the hype nautiluses.
I personally don't think so. Modern watch collectors gravitate towards the sports watches far more than complications from Patek. But I guess it remains to be seen. Truly do hope people fall for these complications as this is what makes Patek great! 😁🙌

Totally fair assessment! Of course this is mostly subjective and always fun to discuss. At the end of the day if we agreed on everything, it would be a boring hobby 😆
The multi-colored rainbow drawstrings on Roman's hoodie are almost as embarrassingly tacky as the gem-set rainbow bezels on the white dial Aquanaut. At least it's not Supreme LOL

Definitely see what you are saying! I think the rubber strap adds to the sportiness of the watch and this is definitely a more sporty aesthetic overall. Would be interesting to see it on a rose gold bracelet 😁🙌

I think the opening comment isnt that fair as you have to look across the whole year release. Patek first half release doesnt have nautilus or aquanaut and released 2 brand new references. If we want to talk about boring new releases that focuses on hype models, look no way other than AP. The high end hublot
I definitely agree that the first half of this year's releases from Patek were outstanding. But to be fair we were really going over the most recent releases that they just dropped, not the ones at the beginning of the year. Regarding AP, we simply disagree hahaha 👍
Overall B grade on PP new releases, my favorite is the Rose gold 5712.😮

I'm a patek stan, I more or less like them all, and I do like factory gem set, at 39.9mm I would rock that rainbow. IDC if it's marketed towards women

First of all, Romans' new hoodie looks great, the fringed multi colored draw strings are a great touch. The new Patek releases look good for the most part. There are a couple that don't really make any sense to me. But the reason Patek did some of the things they did is not only because they simply can, but because their decision makers think there is a market for them. And every once in a while Brands build a total flop, but I don't think any of these Pateks will have a hard time selling. Thank you to Roman, Adrian and Marco for this one. 👏 🔥

Idk man…. For your guys that are the biggest AP fan boys it’s a little weird that you guys say this isnt an “inspiring release” is a bit odd. All AP ever does is make different versions of that same watch over over and over…. Patek is miles and miles ahead of AP and Rolex as far as high end finishing and high horology complication combine… AP is just royal oak.. yawn
Overall I disagree. I think AP has been killing it with their recent Code 11.59 releases. They really have come a long way and are starting to diversify outside of the Royal Oak which is great to see. But that's just my 2 cents and definitely understand your perspective 😁🙌

you can say the release is boring and predictable, but that is always going to be the case with Patek.
Overall, it was a nice mix of desirable pieces, colors, metals, and complications. there was some variety to it which is as much as you can ask for from Patek.
For sure and also at the end of the day, it's Patek. As much as we may criticize these releases they will still sell like hot cakes LOL.. Also, I have to give credit where credit is due as they did come out with some incredible releases recently like the in-line perpetual, 5326 and 5226 and I'm a big fan of the salmon dials they made for the 5320 and 5172. All in all, it makes sense for them to expand out their sports watch range as it was the only gap that needed to be filled in their current collection given what they've released over the last year prior to this release 👍
I really wish they would stop making ladies & mens watches. Why not just make two sizes of the same watch. Women are wearing larger watches, and personally I don’t think women prefer diamond and pink everything anymore. I love the 7118/1300R-001, and if it wasn’t too small would def wear it. “Ladies” watch or not
To be fair, I also think the line between ladies and mens watches is being blurred. Ladies wearing mens watches and some ladies watches are really well designed and can be worn by men. Also size trends are declining and collectors are starting to gravitate towards smaller case sizes which is awesome to see 😁🙌
I would buy none of them, I do have some chronographs as well as rattrapantes but these although these complications can be interesting to play with, these are not really useful. In fact I am waiting for Patek to release a nice sports watch with an alarm which I could use to wake up in the morning. I find the alarm complication much rarer than the chronographs and rattrapantes but also so much more useful. Copying the Rolex Daytona Rainbow 🌈 is not such a good idea…

Salut Marco, Je te remercie pour ta réponse. J’ai une Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Tribute to Polaris 1968. Je trouve que c’est un design très réussi. Je connais la Patek Philippe 5520 mais je n’aime pas son design avec 2 couronnes de chaque côté de la montre, l’esthétique est assez étrange… Patek Philippe peut faire mieux et j’espère qu’il en feront une belle « uncluttered » un jour.
An idea for Luxury Bazaar, why not make a review video of alarm watches one day ? I don’t think any watch chanel has done it yet… The community at large is not really aware of these and even less so of the nice sound these produce hence it could be a discovery for many. I think there is the potential to trigger and set a new trend… What do you think ?

En terme de creer un video sur ce suject, honnetement il n'y a pas tant d'option sur le marcher. Vraiment JLC, Breguet et Patek Philippe son les trois manufacture que je peux pensee qui font cette complication bien.

You are so wrong. Wealthy people value simplistic and basic looking luxury watches that look classy not blinged out- iced out. Only people who got their wealth 5minutes ago and will lose it 10 minutes later buy blinging watches that are literally making the watch cheaper especially if it’s not iced out by the factory.
