I have the strawberry guava - not long in the ground, along with a feijoa. I also have a grafted soursop tree and avocado tree planted 3 weeks ago - All loving Queensland soil. All bought from Daleys - they are thriving in the early weeks, hopefully will have a long and happy life here. Thanks for the informative video.

I am from India near Mumbai, You have uploaded a very Nice Video -- I have many varieties of Tropical fruits, I usually do Air layering of Guava , Water apples and Lemons . We just did a video on netting loquats which also works on guava trees too. Definitely worth the trouble of netting.

Do you fertilize? Sometimes, my other trees drop flowers when I fertilize them. Also my guava wont produce flowers unless I fertilizer.

the problem with guava is root knot nematode, very susceptible and destructive
Hawaiian guavas are very pretty but NOT DELICIOUS cannot be eaten OFF THE TREE, they are VERY SOUR, meant only for juicing
