@@RosasUtopia aww thank you, this is one of my favorites 🥰 I’m always getting compliments when I wear my pair. Thank you so much for watching and commenting ❤️
Oh, girl those are so pretty. It's giving me elegant gothic vibes. Maybe even baroque style. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, I just know they're beautiful, & so interesting & unique 🥰 So, I do have a question, though. Why do you prefer to drill before resin? For me personally, drilling is the very last thing I do before assembly. I love to know why different people like doing things different ways & what their reason is...makes me curious 🤔 plus...ya never know what you might learn 🤓
Ha I actually have a perfect answer for you 😂 my eyes are why - if I drill before I resin I can see the exact area I’m drilling with no guessing, I know my hole will be in the middle exactly where I want it. If I drill after resin I sometimes have a hard time seeing exactly where the middle should be and drill slightly off and it drives me crazy. Not sure if it’s all the lights in my room, if it’s the slightest slip on resin or my eyes are just terrible lol either way that is why 😂
Also thank you I’m so glad you love these as much as I do! They are just so gorgeous in person too well you know how the camera never shows how beautiful a piece truly is 🥰
@sherbearsclay yeah...the camera never does it justice. OR...you take a photo & because the piece is enlarged you see EVERY little flaw & fuzz that no one would ever see with the naked eye, & you're like "where the heck did that come from?!?" Feels like it just kinda ruins it. 😭
Just discovered your channel...been claying since the 90s and i just love these earrings, almost like a faux mokume gane but simpler to make...they are GORGEOUS! I hope u don't mind but i have to make these! I don't usually copy someone else's work but these are just too fab! I'm sure I'll put my own spin on it and i can't wait! Thank you so much for the tute 👍🫶✌️😁
Copy away, I never take offense to people copying my work especially if I’m putting it up as a tutorial. I’m so happy you found me and are enjoying the tutorials 🥰
Thank you so much. I believe I got those off of Amazon. If you go onto the introduction section on my RUclips page down at the bottom, I have them links and one of those links is to my Amazon storefront click on that and you’ll see a bunch of stuff that got added, those earring findings may already be in there. If not, let me know and I will see exactly where I got them when I get home from work. Thank you for watching much appreciated.😊
I love these! Where did you get your little drill, I’m just starting to play with the clay and I’ve been using his drill which wants to slide off the edge, lol and what was your pen called that you gold leafed the edges? Thank you so much for sharing!😀
markers- amzn.to/3SnqUlv drill- amzn.to/3OpZdY8 I'm so happy you enjoined the video, and welcome to the clay world. Its so much fun and you can do so many cool things with clay. For future references I try to always put links in description which I did forget the markers so I'm glad you said something lol now i can link it. If you ever see something not there please let me know. Happy creating and please feel free to ask any questions if you need help or guidance on something.
