Wrong Key
No, it´s not Frank, only that, as you can see both in the title as in the description, it´s in standard tuning, they play in G Major too but they sound half a tone down.
@@JoseChurruca Haha Yeah ,Only "Sounds" 1/2 step lower. Haha Bro ,Why do you think that is Jose ? Because it "IS" ,1/2 step down. So if you aren't 1/2 step down you are in the wrong key ..And it's not in G major either if you wanna be technical.If you'er talking Maj ,it would have to be B Maj but probably more commonly referred for this song as in A b minor .But thnx Jose .Keep up the good work.
Jose, Maybe you are kinda confusing "Chords" for "Keys" bro.IDK.Cuz you may have the correct chords but are off by 1/2 step -which -confuses a lot of guys at times if someone says they are in the wrong key.
@@frankenstien6978 No Frank, I am not confusing anything, I know exactly what I am talking about, the original recording is in B major because the tuning of the guitars is not the standard but they were tuned in E flat, which is the same as the standard but half a tone down although they weren't thinking of B major but C major. No guitarist in the world thinks about the tone that he really sounds when he is playing in Eb but thinks about the chords that he is playing and the tone that those chords imply, that's what I meant. It is very uncomfortable for many guitarists who play in standard tuning (almost all of them), especially beginners, having to go around lowering the tuning of the guitar every time a song is in E flat so that is why I have done both the tutorial and the backing track in standard tuning.

@@JoseChurruca Yeah but the song is NOT in G maj like you said and it's not even in Standard tuning like you are in your tutorial,- so I am merely pointing that out for players who want to play it and then they'll hear they don't sound like the original recording bro.And BTW I am a guitarist who totally "obviously" thinks about tone and whether to play in A440 or D#. I like to sound like the original artist if I'm going to learn a cover. I have guitars tuned to different keys just so I on stage I can just grab a new axe and play the song in the original key . Besides it's a scientific proven fact mans ear is more suited and favors listening to music in Eb /D# .All the greats have learned this and use this trick extensively.Listen to the great Jimi Hendrix- And he learned it from others and others followed him. Just saying.. and if players want to learn the song correctly-why not show it to them correctly how it was recorded and played? I get it though it's not as easy on a piano to play 1/2 step down but on a digital keyboard sall you have to do is transpose the keyboard and you'll be in the proper key and can still play the same chords.
