    Dude this video was so helpful! I had never changed a radiator before and I watched this video and had my new one in within an hour. Super helpful. Couple notes for first gen (1995-2000) that are slightly different from this video:
    The grille is different so you have to either reach through the bottom under the bumper, or take the bumper off to access the lower radiator support bolts. I reached through the bottom and it was a tight fit. I have a 2000.
    Thanks!

    I didn't realize the Tacoma had the same engine. Changing out the radiator on my 03 Tundra today. This video was quite helpful. Thank you!
    P.S. my OEM radiator lasted to 209,000

    I’ll be doing this on my own 95 tacoma. Owner has used green coolant since he bought the truck new so I’ll be using that. Very helpful bro thank you.

    Does the transmission fluid need to be topped off because of any that may have remained in the radiator?

    Does a manual transmission how those 2 small hoses ?

    • @michaelgasperik4319
      @michaelgasperik4319 2 года назад +1

      I don't think a manual transmission would have them because it doesn't use transmission fluid.

      The replacement radiator often comes with the automatic transmission lines attached. Just leave detached for manual -the radiator
      works for manual, and auto transmission...
