    Jordan never beat a 73 win team because he was a 72 win team that actually won the chip that year.So they were equivalent to or ( in my eyes ) better that the GSW 73 win team

    • @TheTlewis3074
      @TheTlewis3074 6 лет назад +2

      The 73 win team did not win the championship, the Cavs did. The only difference in the losing team (GS) was the next year was they added KD. What does that tell you? The Champion Cavs added Korver and Williams and still no one gave them a chance to win even though they were the champs and had the so-called best player in the world. Why?

    • @blackbolt3423
      @blackbolt3423 6 лет назад +13

      My point ...is that the Bull team had the legendary record of wins at 72 and they won , while GS got 73 wins and couldn't close the deal. Mj's Bull team holds more weight and validity than the warriors because they won.

    • @TheTlewis3074
      @TheTlewis3074 6 лет назад +2

      True, but everybody is making such a big deal out of KD joining the 73 win team that lost. They lost, they needed to ad someone, what were they supposed to do? Yes, Jordan's Bulls got it done. GS didn't.

    • @tiredoffools8929
      @tiredoffools8929 6 лет назад +4

      TheTlewis2074.. Not correct. That wasn't the only difference.. all of yall keep disrespecting the role players of the Dubs on that 73 win season. It wasn't just add KD. They lost half their bench. They lost their starting center in Bogut which was a defense presence and they lost barnes, Ezeli, Barbosa... Chemistry had a lot to do with the 73 wins. They don't win 73 without those guys. They haven't done so with KD. Think about that.

    • @tiredoffools8929
      @tiredoffools8929 6 лет назад +4

      Anjohn Davis.... you'd have a point if Rodman or Pippen got suspended for a game and Ron Harper was out with Injury. Just like Lebron didn't have Kyrie or Love the year before that... the Warriors weren't at FULL Strength. We all know that if Draymond didn't get suspended, or if Iggy's back wasn't injured the Cavs don't win that series, but the Cavs did. Just don't act like the Warriors 73 win team was intact because it wasn't.

    I want to thank you for being so inciteful. I rarely agree with any of these so called experts. Lebron James is a great player but the media always spins the narrative to his benefit. People are always claiming he's asked to do so much but he plays no defense and does nothing to elevate his teammates. He had Isiah Thomas who averaged 30ppg last year, D Wade a first ballot Hall of famer who averaged 19ppg last season, Jae Crowder who was the most dependable Celtic on both sides of the ball last year. D Rose former MVP who averaged 18ppg last year and played HUGE in the playoffs this year. None of them fit the Lebron system and they bring in Clarkson, Nance, Hood, and George Hill who are proven rotational players who all averaged over double figures and were major contributors on their previous teams. Lebron has made them look so bad in the way they are used you couldn't get a box of polish sausages for them. They looked best when Lebron left game 7 in Indiana. Hood is so disgruntled he didn't even want to go in the game during garbage time. The millenials and jealous former players like Isiah have anointed him as the GOAT. How when he makes those around him worse. When the mid 30's Celtics team chased him out of Cleveland and he joined a super team in Miami to get humiliated by a JJ Berea and the Jet and got blown out and swept by an Ancient Spurs team in NBA record fashion. Without the miracles of Ray Allen and Draymond Green being suspended he should be 1-8. Get ready for the Decision part II on HBO in July lol. Lebron keeps joining Super Teams but Jordan was the Super Team !!!!

    Jordan was better offensively and defensively than LeBron. LeBron averaged one more rebound per game than Mike, but Mike played in the era of the best big men in history and had great rebounders on his team to take some boards away from him. LeBron is a one foot jumper who leaps better off a running start. Mike can do both and is a quicker jumper. I'd say Mike is arguably a better rebounder. Also when MJ was asked to play pg in the late 80's his passing was arguably right up there with LeBron. Also Mike played against hand checking and no defensive 3 sec rule so the big men could sit there and wait for him, and yet their fg% is less than 1 percent apart. I'd say Mike wins this debate definitively.

    The league isn't testing LeBron for anything cuz if he somehow slipped up & popped for something it would cripple the NBA. It would be so obvious the NBA was a willing participant in covering it up & it would raise questions even the most adamant LeBron stan would have to ask.

    Jordan had 5 consecutive seasons of 200 and 6 overall seasons steals and two seasons of 100+ blocks

  • @kristion9774
    @kristion9774 6 лет назад +16

    I can’t put him with Jordan even if he won 2 more because he was 1-5 versus 50+ win teams before he went to Miami. He ran from a challenge when Jordan sat and lost to the same team 3 consecutive seasons. Jordan had to beat back to back defending champs with 3 to possibly 5 hall of famers just to reach the finals then he stopped their 3 peat and lead his team on a 3 peat of their own. Then he retired and went on another 3 peat. He never lost in the finals and he successfully defended his title every following season he was in the nba. I can’t say that about no other player not even his own teammate Scottie Pippen because in 1994 he did not successfully defend his title! Jordan never lost to a team with a worse record than his for a playoff series but Lebron lost 3 consecutive seasons to teams with worse records, the Magic, The Celtics, and The Mavericks! Jordan never been held under 15 points in a playoff game in his career Lebron been held under 10 twice in the last 7 seasons. Jordan never been held under 20 in a finals game Lebron had an 8 point game in the 2011 finals and averaged 17 for a series coming in 3rd in his own team. For his first two NBA finals 2007, 2011 his scoring averaged was 19.5 he had 195 total points in 10 total finals games! He averages 27 points for his career so that is unacceptable! I can not ever put that over a dude that never scored under 20 in a single finals game. Then he had to run to Wade and Bosh in Miami because he couldn’t get back to the finals two consecutive years when he was the mvp with the number 1 overall best record in the entire nba. He lost to a 3 seed and a 4 seed when he had home court advantage over the entire nba! Then Jordan still leads him in points, offensive rebounds, blocks and steals and Lebron already played 3200 more regular season career minutes. And Jordan stilll did things Lebron never did 3000 points in a season, multiple 200 steals seasons, multiple 100 block seasons, won scoring title, mvp, steals title, defensive player of the year all in the same season. Lead a 6 seed to the conference finals with no other all stars on his team. Lebron second season he and Zydrunas Illguskas were all stars and the Cavs missed the playoffs. He needed 36 wins his rookie season to make the playoffs and came up short but Jordan lead his team with 38 wins to the playoffs. Jordan shot 51% his rookie season but Lebron shot 41% his rookie season and never shot 50% until the 2009/10 season which was his 7th. To be greater you must accomplish more in less time or more in the same amount of time. I can’t give Lebron longer than I give Jordan to be greater than Jordan. He already getting passes for needing to be on 3 separate teams to get his accomplishments with 2 current all stars. Then they changed all the rules after his rookie season to make offense easier for him and his generation. It’s not close for me and never can be. But I respect everyone’s position but mines is firm! Lebron ship sailed to pass Jordan long ago and it can’t be made up no matter what he does because Jordan doesn’t have those same flaws on his resume. If Jordan did then Lebron could catch him but he doesn’t!

Well he might find some other drug to help him but still he will not pass Jordan, that's just the truth of the matter here.

    • @kristion9774
      @kristion9774 6 лет назад +2

      John doue Quebec he can never pass Jordan because Jordan doesn’t have an 8 point finals game and didn’t average 17 points for a finals series. Jordan didn’t have 195 total points for 10 finals games in his first 2 finals appearances. Jordan was never a number 1 seed and lost to a 3 seed and a 4 seed. Jordan never lost a series when he had home court advantage Lebron lost 3. Jordan never had a 7 point playoff game. Jordan never had to change teams to win finals. Jordan never scored under 20 points in a finals game or under 15 points in a playoff game. Jordan played less and accomplished way more in the team that drafted him. Lebron is 1-4 in the finals on the team that drafted him. He will never in his life catch Jordan. Anyone with honor agrees. Jordan doesn’t have the flaws on his resume that Lebron has that’s why Lebron can never catch him

    • @kristion9774
      @kristion9774 6 лет назад +1

      John doue Quebec Jordan 6-6 in the finals 4-0 in title defenses because he has 2 separate 3 peats. Lebron 3-9 in the finals and 1-2 in title defenses! Jordan beat Portland and Phoenix on 2 successful title defenses. Then Jordan beat Utah and Utah on 2 other successful title defenses. Lebron beat San Antonio on a title defense and that was luck from Chris Bosh and Ray Allen. Then he went and got a lost on a title defense to San Antonio in 2014. Then in 2017 he got dethroned on his title defense by golden state. Jordan swept 2 time defending champs pistons stopped their 3 peat hopes then lead his team on a 3 peat. Lebron never faced 1 defending champion team from the east in his playoff career. Celtics won in 2008 but the Orlando Magic dethroned them then upset Lebron #1 seed. Jordan faced 87 Celtics defending champs 90 pistons defending champs and 91 pistons defending champs. Lebron is from the weakest era of the eastern conference in nba history. Eastern conference won 6 total nba titles in 20 seasons since Jordan retired from the bulls and Lebron lost 6 of them the same amount that Jordan lead his bulls too 6 titles. Jordan is better than the entire eastern conference of the last 20 seasons not just Lebron. The nba changed rules to make offense easier and Lebron has used free agency 3 separate times to win his 3 titles and he still can’t catch Jordan. Jordan never joined teams to chase rings Lebron is on his 3rd attempt of joining teams to chase rings and is 3-5 in the finals as a result and 0-1 in the finals before free agency in the finals on the team that drafted him. Lebron was 1-5 in finals series versus teams with 50 or more wins before free agency sign and trade to the Miami Heat to chase rings. And he owes the Miami Heat fans not 3 not 4 not 5 not 6 not 7 titles and he really believes that like he said and he, Bosh and Wades press conference.

      Cornelious Worsham Where can I see that? I don't know much about basketball but looking at LeBron, I see the same thing. He's strictly playing to pass Jordan. He has good players on his team but they can't really show what they can do because of what he's trying to do. I watched early this season because of D Wade, and saw that they were so out of sync. LeBron doesn't want teammates, he want employees. He's doesn't want to work with anybody, he wants them to work for him so he can accomplish his goal. I think that's why JR and Tristan are still on the team. People complain about them and LeBron carry the team but I think that's what he want. We know Jordan is the GOAT, but people are saying that he had help. LeBron wants to say that he did by himself. He wants to be the hero.

    Lebron apologists are lucky jordan retired for 2 season in the middle of his champion ship run. Imagine 8-0 or even 7-1 in 8 years. Compared to 3-5 in 8 years, lebron would have no dog in this fight. Then we would hear idiots these days say Hakeem was a scrub and was old and no competition.

    Thank you, thank you for this excellent video! These cats are trying to REVISE history, they don't point out how Lebron's system of basketball turns his teammates into zombies.. they may be great but after playing with Lebron for years they become little more than spot up shooters.. and his teammates get none of the credit for the wins and all of the blame for the losses... that's why it's a myth that everyone wants to play for Lebron, not everyone does.. it usually means your value plummets through the cellar.

    LeBron is a great player but Michael Jordan is the undisputed GOAT and here's why. No other player has had the overall impact on Basketball than Michael Jordan. From his phenomenal play on the court, changing NBA shorts from daisy dukes to knee level, making his basketball shoes the preferred footwear to inspiring people around the world even in places that didn't have basketball wanting to and playing basketball. There's more but this is enough to chew on for now.

    LeBron has three titles and has repeated as champ once in his career.
    Michael Jordan has six titles and has repeated as champion four times.
    The only team LeBron has ever beat in the finals that didn’t beat him the following year were the Oklahoma City Thunder.
    LeBron has been swept twice and won in seven games twice.
    LeBron is 18-31 in NBA finals games.
    Michael Jordan is 24-11 in the NBA finals.
    LeBron has been to three more finals, and has six less wins in the finals.
    LeBron has been to the finals nine times and has been swept twice as much as he’s even repeated.
    He’s not the same performer when it matters.

    Golden State still had a great chance to win game 7 of the 2016 Finals. It was on their court, it was a very close game, and it was a grand opportunity for the Warriors to put it out. Give credit to the Cavaliers for winning game 7 of the Finals on the road. It is the first this happened since 1978 when the Washington Bullets beat the Seattle Supersonics in Seattle.

    Lebron is 3-6 in finals. Robert Horry has 7 rings, why? because even though he was not an MVP, or an allstar, if you put him on a championship caliber team in a finals moment, he will come up big. He was a closer. Lebron is 3-6 not because his teammates were bums but because he just did not close the deal when it was winning time. The difference between Jordan and Lebron is if Jordan were in the OT situation like game 1, he would have played in OT the way Lebron played in the first half. He would have found a way to win that game. That's what you're supposed to do when you are the greatest player on the floor. If Lebron had been playing that way when it's time to win a close championship game over the last few years he would not be 3-6 and he would be the G.O.A.T. but......

      Just Bake Lebron possibly could be 0-9. The refs gave the Heat the OKC series with a bunch of bad calls, Popovic gave him the 2nd by taking Timmy out of the game at the end, I will never understand that and thankk God for Ray Allen. and Draymond gave him the 3rd with that stupid kick to the balls. And Lebron was not the guy to make the winning plays in any of those series. He's lucky to have even 1 ring.

    How could anyone praise Lebron in this league? There’s no defense, all the players are 19 years old, all the athletes are rookies guys move right out of the way for him he cries and stomp if he don’t get calls, he trips over those big ass shoes he wears and the defense got a foul call this is the worse basketball I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. So he might pass all the greats, buuuutttt back then they played defense. No defense no big men in the paint all the big men are shooting threes thanks to Steph who should be getting praises because he single handily changed the game.

    My Top 10: 1. Bill Russell 2. Wilt Chamberlain 3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 4. Oscar Robertson 5.Isiah Thomas 6.Michael Jordan 7. Magic Johnson 8. Larry Bird 9. Tim Duncan 10. Hakeem.
    I based this on championships; coming through in the clutch; and based upon the natural abilities and deficiencies of players alongside of their peers... not to mention who they beat during their path to titles and while winning titles during their reign.
    Reasoning: The reason why I have Russell over Wilt is because they faced one another and Russell won more while Chamberlain scored more and Russell defeated Chamberlain more (when it mattered) than Chamberlain defeated Russell while Russell knew how to lead his team.
    The reason why I have Isiah Thomas over Magic, Jordan, and Bird is because at 6'1" 185lb. he defeated all of them more than they defeated him; also they had to change the rules due to the Detroit Pistons' style-of-play to enable Jordan an easier path to winning multiple times as Magic and Bird became old. I put Magic over Bird because Magic won more titles and defeated Bird twice in the NBA Finals. I put Duncan over Hakeem because Duncan has more titles over a consistent period of time; even though I would take Hakeem in his prime over Duncan; Tim Duncan was a better consistent winner with the abilities and talent around him versus Hakeem's reign from 1993-94 to 1995-96, no way Hakeem wins titles with weak back-up centers and power forwards along with guards like Parker and Ginobili, who would have been devoured in the 90's and been considered as weak.
    The top guys on this list (1-5) would dominate the bottom guys (6-10) on this list given the switch of either the physical abilities or teammates had by the 6-10 guys; I guarantee you the 1-5 players on this list either win more titles or improve their individual stats/abilities.
    You cannot tell me that Isiah Thomas wouldn't win more titles if he were 6'9"-6'6" like Magic/Bird/Jordan or that Duncan would not have won more titles over a longer period of time if he had guys like Horry, Thorpe, Drexler, Cassell, Ellie, Maxwell, Smith etc...now he did have David Robinson but that takes two titles away giving Duncan 3 without Robinson (2005, 2007, 2014) and more than Hakeem. You put Bird in the Duncan era and Duncan in the Bird era; Tim Duncan doesn't win as much in the 80's but Bird would have dominated from 1998-2016.

    • @destonwoodlee4833
