I’m in Bentonville, lots of tree damage, hoping not too much to homes and businesses, thank you for your coverage Max, you were with us in our safe space!
I’m in NE IL. It’s 3:23am and am a light sleeper. Just heard a single siren go off in the distance. Never double-checked radars so fast. Hoping they’re not preparing for today in the Midwest. Prayers everyone.
max i cannot stress a thank you enough. my town was being hit around 51:23 and i was asleep when awoken by sirens to find out a pds tornado was coming my way soon. this was my first ever tornado and i’ve loved learning about weather for some years but i would not stop shaking. when i heard the rumbling i was silent. thankfully it went north of my house by about a 3 minute drive. it knocked over our old stadium’s baseball lights and narrowly missed all of my friends and families houses.
i'm in rogers and we were a couple of miles from the tornado, we don't have power right now 😭. thank you for keeping us informed, you helped us a lot throughout this storm and kept us safe :D
Woke up at 5 am and seen you had streamed. I’m east of St. Louis but wanted to say thank you for your dedication! Streaming at 230 am is not easy. I’m happy you are gaining the subs you deserve. Thank you for keeping us all weather aware!!
I have been watching this all day long I'm in Missouri so I was just keeping an eye on things today. But I'm just blown away by the amount of tornadoes and the strength of them it seems like there are twice as many as there used to be on there twice as strong. My heart goes out to those people affected by all these storms.
I'm 73. I agree, when I was young, I don't remember this many tornados! And NEVER a December tornado like the one that destroyed Mayfield KY 2 weeks before Christmas!
Max, your the man! Thanks so much for all you do. We'll be awaiting your return here in Dieterich/Effingham Illinois area today. Folks, what a blessing this guy is, kid flat knows his business!!
You were spot-on with the Claremore, Ok tornado! I knew it was extremely close to me but didn’t realize just how close until I had a police officer fly through the road by my house and yelling for us over the speaker to take cover now! Thankfully, it barely missed my house but both my bro’s and parent’s house weren’t so lucky! It definitely did a ton of damage throughout the Claremore and Justus-Tiawah area with 23-reported injuries and no deaths as of yet! We were all so very lucky and blessed.
If one hits a Metro .... it is like they have missed by going rural yet following a planned target ? Oh and it is not June yet. I drove 18 wheeler in the 1980's and 1990's through Tornado 🌪 Alley with never confronting a tornado 🌪 but past by aftermath or saw later on way back to Nevada that I past one hour before a small one hit the rest area in Texas on Highway 10. This is sooooo not "normal " 😢
I live 300 feet off of Lone Oak 2 miles west of 35. Yes. I took a direct hit..in a mobile home. Somehow, through God's mercy, He spared my home. Minor damage, while 2 children across the street were killed. All my neighbors lost their homes. 4 months later, I'm still terrified of loud noises, storms, etc. I have to take Xanax if they skies get dark. It was terrifying, and I'm not a shrinking violet type. I wish i had been watching these RUclips channels, because i had no warning until my ears started popping... That debris signature at 10:42 was my neighborhood
I watched Max from Hawaii all day. Then a lull so I cooked and ate and then saw the most crazy stuff I ever "saw" because these creepy triple or whatever going in wrong directions targets are tiny towns oh wow 😮
I'm just tuning in, I'm seeing that this broadcast is several hours ago? I am in Louisiana. What's the updated position at this time. Please update the live coverage as of 9:37am May 26?
On the off chance that anyone is still reading this: I notice that I'm finding it difficult to tell a debris signature from all the other blue stuff on the radar. Does anyone have any tips to help me distinguish better?
To see a debris signature there with all kinds of ripped of roofs, trees and branches! If the tornado going over water you will not see debris ! You will see a water spout!
Can you give me an update on the weather around Sedalia Missouri. I hate to ask you for that but I have to have time to get out of my trailer out of my truck and down to my sister's house
hey sorry but i was in south of denton and we felt some wind, was it from the tornado bc i was looking in the radar and aware and there was no other storms around us
