Kao prvo autor ove pjesme je sam izvođač, baby lazagna. On nije pjevač, već je gitarista i piše tekstove i glazbu za druge izvođače itd. Dalje, smatram da ima jako dobar vokal, a bogami i sluh čim sklada a i dobio je nagradu prošle godine u Njemačkoj za najbolji album godine, grupa Mono Inc. Možda nije vokalno najbolje izveo Rim, tim, tagi, dim,jer mu fali kondicije za 3 minute punog intenziteta pjevanja i u isto vrijeme divljanja. Ja bi nakon prvog refrena ostala bez zraka da nemogu zatražiti ni vode. Možda bi bilo bolje da je pjesmu dao nekome, samo je pitanje da li bi netko drugi iznio tu pjesmu sa toliko energije kao on večeras. Vokal možeš popraviti ali karizmu nema svatko. Ovaj dečko je toliko jednostavan, a toliko karizmatican da mu uopće ne zamjeram falšanje. A o falšanju ostalih izvođača, koji slove za vrsne vokale bolje ne komentirati.

One boy who was a reserve, who had to figure everything out by himself in a month and a half, and who felt a lot of pressure from the Croatian and European audience, in the end everything ended well. Now everyone is looking for a hairy egg. You can see that he enjoys performing, he also has the desire, maybe last night was too big, but he is not to be blamed, he is nervous, but now the ice is broken, until tomorrow, not to mention until May, it will be even better. Maybe the costumes from the video are better, but these sleeves as well as the vest can be seen on every Slavonian male and female costume, as well as on most Croatian costumes from all parts of our beautiful country. Not to mention how the scene is limited to 6 people, and not to mention the money that needs to be invested. Come on, be realistic. Vocally, he needs to work, but he himself admitted that he moved the microphone away from his face due to excitement. When you read the comments of people who listened to it live in the studio, they said that it was like a concert when he performed, and professional singers, they said that he has vocals but needs work. With the fact that HRT bribery and corruption are taking their toll. The camera doesn't follow him or the scene at all, these dancers, when you look a little closer, are great, but the production, just because he is the favorite and because he has impressed everyone there, wants to sabotage him. Marko/Baby Lasagna, kudos to you, fly now, relax, enjoy, you've been my favorite since January 5, 2024, when the songs from this year's Dora came out. I voted for you last night, and I will vote for you tomorrow too, I dont care about the bill 😂, I believe it will be even better and stronger. Thank you for everything, the only one who understood the essence of ESC, the only one who enjoyed and left his heart and soul on that stage, easy for haters, stick to us who support you and your loved ones. I am really angry because people think he needs to be perfect. I always said remember your first day at work, you are scared, nervous, but after some time you become better and better. Marko will get better, he deserves a chance. I didn’t see anybody from Croatia, talking about experts, to help him. He did it all by himself. I believe, if he he wins Dora, in Malmo he will be perfect, he will learn how to cooperate with camera, he will get head microphone, and his voice and his performance will be more than good. What has disappointed me even more is the fact that I, just an ordinary Eurovision fan from Philippines, have already received some nasty, negative, and mean comments. I mean, don't I have the right to appreciate Baby Lasagna? Is rooting for him lawfully wrong? It's as though I committed a crime. Honestly speaking, it's the first time that I've received such hate for supporting someone (Baby Lasagna) who I personally think has the potential to win Eurovision 2024. I am also attack about this and also listened a lot of song from this year competition, and I have to say most of them are the same. Italy come on, Ukraine because of the war, country’s from west or north of Europe because they have money. So what if he finds inspiration in Kaarija, in Rammstein. Do they know what rock or metal concert look like? All rock and metal bends have that head banging and the same moves. We can also say that Kaarija copied Rammstein, or Queen. They also wear make up. All rock bands do and do improvisation on the stage. Marko said in his interview before Dora that the stagings will be different from official music video. Maybe for a reason. Look at me, now I am big boy, but you can still find a lots of elements on stage from music video.

He is GOOD and that song is the only example of music quality that we have heard on both semi finals, Marcela with Gasoline is okay as well even though her voice was worse than I expected so please people, no hate, he was really good, he gave his soul for that performance.
Right. I can't believe that Baby Lasagna receives so much hate. Even I have also received hate. I honestly thought Croatian people were nice in general especially to foreigners, but I understand. Hate is everywhere in the culture.
They say it is a good sign if the song arises opposite opinions. It keeps the discussion going, and it is better that it makes people feel something, rather than being bland. There are so much people that absolutely love this, so they will start praising it even more, when there are those spreading negative comments.
So, as not-fine as hate comments are, I think those can be seen as positive sign 🤔 Käärijä did receive a lot of that too, and see how he ended up.

Marko is a singer-songwriter. He honestly admits that he is not a singer, that he did not hope to pass the Dora, so he did not have time to prepare. In 30 days, he gave numerous interviews, had to record a video and prepare a stage performance. He also admits that he lacks fitness for a dynamic stage performance and needs to work on that. It's not the same as standing and singing, or jumping on stage with a microphone in hand. Marko does his best and is aware of what he still needs to work on. Don't judge him, but support him because he deserves it. Baby Lasagna is the best ❤️

Incompetent jury of Croatian Radio & Television did not want Baby Lasagna at Dora at all. He entered the competition as a reserve, because someone else dropped out.
The song is about young people leaving their home (and immigrating to other countries; 400,000 in 10 years) in search of a better life, and anxiety it creates. Yet, the song is litehearted. It was written, and produced solely by Marko Purišić (Baby Lasagna) in his room in Umag, small town, Croatia. First time performing as a singer on a big stage, Marko did great; people of Croatia reacted and gave him the greatest margin of victory ever. With big stage and some improvements, it’s a definite contender.
