Bought Nouveau Monde yesterday as a Xmas gift to myself. Got turned on to LV fragrance by a friend that wears Ombre Nomade, but that's just a tad too much for me, so Nouveao Monde is perfect. Great for winter! If it turns out to be too heavy for summer I might use it as my base smell and add a little spritz of another lighter LV fragrance like L'immensité or Meteore. They combine and layer super well. Pro tip: refills are 50%, so the fragrances are actually priced the same as or even lower than high-end fragrances from Tom Ford or Dior - they just make you pay extra once for the bottle. 😉
Afternoon swim is special, you only smelled the opening and not the dry down when the ambergris really comes out. The immediate opening is not the greatest but wait 10-15 minutes and it changes for the better
Hmmmm these are actual perfumes and not cologne so eluding to this being a purchase just for the name is not so correct. I have Les Sables Roses and it is an OUD scent. There is nothing else like it and these fragrances are very much more special that you credit them for. The dry downs are beautiful. You can also have the bottles refilled at less that half the price so there is that.
