Received my Goodwin Racing RoadsterSport Super Street today - was a pain to get the old hangers off, tried one side without the soap, I should have just soaped both sides like you recommended. The sounds is just what I was after - I took my baffle out as well :)
Thanks for this great review Davo - I am thinking of getting this muffler for my 2019 ND2 - Is there any drone when cruising at 110 and is there any boominess when decelerating at around 2000-3000 rpm? I was tossing up between the HKS sport single tip and the GWR super street single tip - I would love to hear this muffler in person!!
Hi Cyrus. There is a little drone at 110 but no boominess when decelerating. I loved the sound. Unfortunately, I no longer own the car. I had to buy a bigger car for a number of reasons. I miss this car so much though.
Since the exhaust takes up less space underneath, is the underside aerodynamically affected? Does it create any stability issues at higher speeds? I watched a video of someone installing a Verus rear diffuser and claims it helps with the above issues due to smaller exhausts
You must be single...Unboxing in the kitchen??🤔🤔👍😂😂😂 Not at my House anyway😂😂 Just ordered this w/twin tips😎😎 Sounds great! What the car had been missing!👍👍
Hey Davo thanks for the post...does this sound just a bit louder but deeper than stock when you are just short shifting around town? Say under 3K rpm? Any noticeable change in tone now that it's broken in? TA!
Hi Ron. Just as you say, it is slightly louder and deeper at lower RPM up to about 2500. It sounds amazing when you give it a bit of stick. The sound is less tinny now that it is broken in. I love it!
Hi Kamui. It is near stock sound level at idol but comes alive when the rpms are above 2500 to 3000. it really does sound great when you put the foot down and also under deceleration. I love it!
What a difference in sound. The stock muffler sounds like rubbish. New one sounds nice and throaty, we have to remember this is a sports car, not a Civic or Camry.
Thank you very much for posting before and after comparison.
Probably one of the best one on RUclips!
Thanks heaps for posting, especially with the install process. Definitely keen on getting the same Goodwin muffler. Cheers from Canberra.
Thanks, buddy. I am really enjoying the new sound. All the best with yours!

Any drone during highway speed?
I have this in the meteor grey color. This sounds great! I'm looking to upgrade mine as well

Thanks for the quick response - hope you can get back into an ND at some time in the future
Hoping to get this same pipe for my 1.5 soon.
You will be pleased that you did.

Hahaha. Not single but unpacked before she got home!
48Davo Brilliant👍👍👍
Does this exhaust have any drone? Wondering mostly about the 3000-3500 rpm range
Hi. The exhaust does have a slight drone. I am used to it and the much better sound overrides any negatives......Dave
@@MrTlovinglife awesome thanks!

48Davo thanks Davo...sounds like what I'm looking for... stealthy just cruising around but all the sounds when you want it!
nice sound, much louder than stock or not ? suitable, for a daily ?

Absolutely suitable for a daily
How much quieter is the exhaust with the baffle in?
Hi Keith. I haven’t tried the muffler with the baffle in....sounds too good without it!

Yes, Doug. I am thrilled with the sound of the new muffler. I love the growl as you put it through its paces
