The Timmy being Danny theory sounds cool on paper, until you remember the made-for-tv movie where we actually see that Timmy keeps his godparents well into his teen years (he's at college by the time they finally leave him) and also, there's no actual rule about the turning 13 and the fairy godparents leave. As long as they act like a child in many episodes and movies timmy keeps his fairies way past teens i remember way back towards the start of the series he was gonna lose them after he wished to get older then started crying in jail and that gave him kid-ness i guess allowing him to keep them and wish to ne younger and yada yada yada point being da rules are very lenient on loseing your fairies just as long as you dont tell anybody like timmy does in abracatastrophy or outgrow them like in channel chasers

I read somewhere that Butch Hartman said that Danny and Timmy were long lost cousins and that they were from the same world. He wanted to do a Danny/Timmy power hour like the Jimmy/Timmy thing but Nickelodeon wouldn't let him for some reason. Both Danny and Timmy were in the Nicktoons Unite games.
I personally think that Danny and Timmy are cousins and the Poltergeeks was Timmy's parents failed attempt to step into the family business of ghost-hunting. Heck that explains the cameo and would make a great premise for a crossover episode that doesn't exist for some reason.

A few other things to point out, Sanjay becomes Quan, and that girl that follows Trixie around becomes Star. Also, the Danny Phantom cameo can be explained with the fact that Danny has traveled back in time before. He could easily have traveled back a few years, saved someone and somehow people thought he was an evil ghost. Y'know, how half the people in his hometown thought he was an evil ghost before Phantom Planet. Then people could have just made him wanted cause they thought he was an evil ghost in the past in a different city. The future isnt changed, however, because it is a completely different city and no one can remember anyways. Also, I dont buy that Cosmo is Frostbite, because he doesnt seem goofy enough and he actually seems... smart. I do, however buy that Wanda is Jazz. Jazz is a very smart, older, voice of reason who tries to help Danny whenever she can and sometimes seems like a buzzkill. I do think that Cosmo could possibly be the Box Ghost. Goofy, somewhat dim-witted characters who are basically comic relief and sometimes used by other characters. I hope this can explain away any problems anyone can have about the theory. I believe it perfectly.
Also, I just realized that Vicky is Spectra. They are both evil redheads who "feed" off the misery of children. They are also both entrusted to take care of the children by naive adults. Vicky being a babysitter and Spectra being a counselor. Something else to point out that furthers the point.

I really could have sworn that I heard somewhere that Danny and Timmy were supposed to be cousins... Cross-overs were planned and never occurred. Which would make a lot of sense, considering they are both created by the same person. That would also mean that the two shows basically occur side by side, explaining Danny's brief cameo in the Fairly Odd Parents. Of course, we don't know which of their parents are related...
Timmy making a wish like that doesn't sound too out of character, now that i think about it. And also, the wish could've caused everyone in that universe to grow that fifth finger. Kind of like when Jimmy Neutron comes into the Fairly Odd universe, he loses a finger; Timmy's wish could've caused something to that affect.

there is no way this can work because in the Fairy odd episode, Channel chasers, Timmy at one point needs to age himself enough so he looses his fairies, which takes him to 18. there is no rule saying they can only have them until 13, that is Kids Next Door.
I have a different theory about Fairly Oddparents: Is Timmy actually in Purgatory? I think that when Timmy was alone with Vicky, she actually killed him. But, he went to purgatory.Fairy World might be based on heaven and maybe fairies might just be angels in heaven. I feel like this theory is very much debunked when you factor in the Fairly Oddparents live action movies, where Timmy refuses to grow up, and is still in elementary school as a grown adult just so he can keep his Fairy Godparents via a loophole in "Da Rules". These movies were made by Butch Hartman and Nickelodeon, and are most likely canon to the series, which would mean that this theory couldn't happen

This entire theory is debunked by the episode "Channel Chasers", where Timmy ages himself one year at a time to forget about his Fairy Godparents, he only loses his Godparents at age 18 not 13. Furthermore, the epilogue of the episode shows an adult Timmy with his two children. NOT an adult Danny Fenton.
Well what if the wish somehow gets reversed? We've seen Timmy make dumb wishes and then realize the whole thing was a mistake. Maybe somehow he's able to reverse it and learns a lesson in acceptance or whatever other lesson and then everything turns back to normal and the timeline is fixed (Highly unlikely but it's fun to think about)
These two shows totally don't take place in the same universe, but it would be kind of cool if they did. That Timmy/Danny theory is pretty out there, but it does bring up an interesting point... humans aren't allowed to know about the existence of fairies, aside from children who (temporarily) have fairy godparents. Ghosts on the other hand probably would know all about fairies, because ghosts themselves can be classified as magical creatures. So, as half-ghosts, Danny and Vlad would be the only humans without fairy godparents permitted to know about the existence of fairies, via loophole.

As cool as it is to be Team Emily, and as logical as it is to be Team Brizzy, I think we have to consider the multiverse theory. After all, if we separated the universe of Timmy growing up normally and the universe of him becoming Danny Phantom, we could see the possibility. There are a lot of similarities, but I'd agree more with Brizzy's rating, due to the fact Dash also made a cameo in the Fairly Odd Parents episode Fly Boy, and the fact that Sam and Tootie's parents have very little in common both personality and appearance wise. Still, it's a fun theory and would have been very cool if true.
I think in Channel Chaser when Timmy aged himself with the remote. He aged himself until he couldn't remember Cosmo and Wanda, but when he got to 18 years of age he forgot Cosmo and Wanda. And Timmy is 10 years old. If you look through all his stages there's no way he could be Danny. He was gonna have them for 8 more years. Meaning he wouldn't make that wish. So that means Danny would have to be 18 years old. There was his secret wish, but that just kept him back for 50 years or so.

I think Danny is a figment of timmy's imagination. Danny is probably one of timmy's made up comic book characters that he creates as what Timmy wished his life would be but also a realistic version of how his life actually is. So I think Timmy grew up and because a comic book arrest and created this character as a version of himself but replacing the fairys with fantoms (F's) and making himself older.
You have greatly disappointed me :( its when he turns 18 that he loses his fairy odd parents. Not 13, but 18. I remember because I saw that one movie where his older self comes back from the future to stop Timmy from getting a magic remote that allows him to do a bunch of stuff that I can't really say for the simple fact that that parts fuzzy, all I do remember is that he could go into TV shows, and change his age and what not. And that's what he did in order to stop Vicky(I think that's how its spelled) and so starts adding up his age one year at a time. Even noting happily at I think 13 that he'll have Cosmo and Wanda for a few more years. When he hits 18 however he completely forgets what he's doing there even stating "wow whats with the stadium are we playing the (insert whatever football teams name he said here)?". Interesting theories, but the live action movies (which I unfortunately haven't gotten to see so I have no basis of their production and entertainment values) for Fairly Odd Parents show Timmy does grow older, and even keeps his fairies around in a loophole (or so I heard, lol). I'm pretty sure they are canon considering they were produced by Nick. Which brings me to my next question: Why hasn't there been a Danny Phantom live action movie? Be it tv or theatrical I think it, above all other Hartman or even Nick tv shows, would translate best into a teen action/comedy beautifully! Adam Mattison That's what I was trying to figure out, because in the movie where Timmy was trying to lose if fairy parents because Viki was overusing her powers he was able to go beyond the age that most humans with fairy parents were unable to.
I personally find this theory to be stupid. The only thing linking these two series is that the same guy made them. Of course they're going to have similar characters, writers tend to stick to similar personalities (I know this because I'm a writer and I accidentally do this a lot). It's like the Marvel universe. One creator, one universe. It's possible that because Butch Hartman created both the Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom that the Fairy World and the Ghost Zone exist together, but again, that's the only thing linking the two.

This is off topic, but I think there's a message behind Fairly Odd Parents. When Timmy turns 13, he looses all the memories he had with the Fairly Odd Parents and looses every memory. It's like when people turn into a teen, they don't feel like a kid anymore. Now they're older and more mature, so they loose all the fun they had as a kid.

Timmy had a horrible childhood. Which is why he was given fairies. Of course he knows he will eventually lose them, and have to go back to a very boring life. So it makes sense that he made his final wish into a more interesting life. He would definitely do that, considering he is very used to having a unique life, and clearly abuses the power of wishes a lot. Of course, this theory would make sense in the final day that Timmy actually has his fairy godparents. Relationships with his friends could have changed. Chester may have joined sports in high school and ditched AJ and Timmy. Tootie and Timmy May have ended up being friends. Also, Jazz could be Vicky. I say this because Timmy never had an actual sister. Like it or not, the closest person to that was Vicky. Timmy’s parents never made time for him. Thus, he spent most his time with Vicky. It explains why this alternate universe, Jazz is Vicky. Maybe the ghost are the anti-fairies, because no matter what they are still around, including around adults. Danny’s parents neglect him (hunting ghost) like Timmy’s parents did. It’s just all too similar and too ironic that these characters are the same race and hair color. This is definitely a cool theory.

I propose a different theory. What if the world of Danny Phantom is a bizarro world of Fairly Odd Parents? They could all still hold all the ground as in this theory, but different. Yes, they have met in the mini shorts, but could that be just all the different worlds combining? Or it just isn't canon, and the shorts are just to bring all the characters of the Nickelodeon community together? This would be cool.
About Jazz, I remember that Timmy wears pink because his parents expected a girl, so he decides to give his parents the daughter they wanted, so he gets a sister and that's how Jazz was made. Or she could be Vicky. Timmy could have deep down like Vicky or at least had hope that she has some good in her heart so he wanted her to become the good person she could have been, and then she becomes Jazz, a kind and supportive sister to Timmy/Danny.
What I find more believable is Nickelodeon's already established canon that Jimmy Neutron and Timmy Turner are polar opposites in alternate dimensions.
As good as this theory may be, I have another theory. Due to some reckless wishing on Timmy's part, both of his parents die and Crocker learns he has fairy god parents, and he loses Cosmo and Wanda in the process. Having pity on him due to having lost everything, the fairy council make so that he grew up in a orphanage. A couple months later, The Mr. and Mrs. Fenton come to Dimmsdale with the plan of both attending Ghost con and adopting a child (since they were both busy, and Dimmsdale's orphanage was the nearest one), there they find Timmy (who changes his name to Danny to reflect his new life), and they take him home. But hey, that's just a theory. A Film Theory! Aaaaaand cut.

I really could have sworn that I heard somewhere that Danny and Timmy were supposed to be cousins... Cross-overs were planned and never occurred. Which would make a lot of sense, considering they are both created by the same person. That would also mean that the two shows basically occur side by side, explaining Danny's brief cameo in the Fairly Odd Parents. Of course, we don't know which of their parents are related...

I have a different theory about Fairly Oddparents: Is Timmy actually in Purgatory? I think that when Timmy was alone with Vicky, she actually killed him. I feel like this theory is very much debunked when you factor in the Fairly Oddparents live action movies, where Timmy refuses to grow up, and is still in elementary school as a grown adult just so he can keep his Fairy Godparents via a loophole in "Da Rules". These movies were made by Butch Hartman and Nickelodeon, and are most likely canon to the series, which would mean that this theory couldn't happen

These two shows totally don't take place in the same universe, but it would be kind of cool if they did. That Timmy/Danny theory is pretty out there, but it does bring up an interesting point... humans aren't allowed to know about the existence of fairies, aside from children who (temporarily) have fairy godparents. Ghosts on the other hand probably would know all about fairies, because ghosts themselves can be classified as magical creatures. So, as half-ghosts, Danny and Vlad would be the only humans without fairy godparents permitted to know about the existence of fairies, via loophole.

There are a lot of similarities, but I'd agree more with Brizzy's rating, due to the fact Dash also made a cameo in the Fairly Odd Parents episode Fly Boy, and the fact that Sam and Tootie's parents have very little in common both personality and appearance wise. Still, it's a fun theory and would have been very cool if true.

I think in Channel Chaser when Timmy aged himself with the remote. He aged himself until he couldn't remember Cosmo and Wanda, but when he got to 18 years of age he forgot Cosmo and Wanda. And Timmy is 10 years old. If you look through all his stages there's no way he could be Danny. He was gonna have them for 8 more years. Meaning he wouldn't make that wish. So that means Danny would have to be 18 years old. There was his secret wish, but that just kept him back for 50 years or so.

I think Danny is a figment of timmy's imagination. Danny is probably one of timmy's made up comic book characters that he creates as what Timmy wished his life would be but also a realistic version of how his life actually is. So I think Timmy grew up and because a comic book arrest and created this character as a version of himself but replacing the fairys with fantoms (F's) and making himself older.
Timmy doesn't loose his fairies when he turns 13. He looses them when he's 18. Don't forget channel chasers (i think that's what its called :P)

You have greatly disappointed me :( its when he turns 18 that he loses his fairy odd parents. Not 13, but 18. I remember because I saw that one movie where his older self comes back from the future to stop Timmy from getting a magic remote that allows him to do a bunch of stuff that I can't really say for the simple fact that that parts fuzzy, all I do remember is that he could go into TV shows, and change his age and what not. And that's what he did in order to stop Vicky(I think that's how its spelled) and so starts adding up his age one year at a time. Even noting happily at I think 13 that he'll have Cosmo and Wanda for a few more years. When he hits 18 however he completely forgets what he's doing there even stating "wow whats with the stadium are we playing the (insert whatever football teams name he said here)?". So you have sadly failed in some research. But I forgive you and only wish that you read this and understand your mistake. I shall continue watching because I love your vids :) .

Interesting theories, but the live action movies (which I unfortunately haven't gotten to see so I have no basis of their production and entertainment values) for Fairly Odd Parents show Timmy does grow older, and even keeps his fairies around in a loophole (or so I heard, lol). Well, he wished to be someone different, someone cooler, so that means the cameo of Danny IS in fact a foreshadowing of things to come, and also something that's already happened and here is why I choose Emily:
Theory 1:
They could exist at the same time, but Timmy just switched bodies with him after/during that birthday. It's not that unlikely since he fairies do have the ability to alter time, I.E. Timmy traveling back to when his father was a kid.
Theory 2:
They could occupy alternate dimensions. As explained in the video "Is Danny Half Dead?" the ghost zone is another dimension, meaning at some point Danny switches places with Timmy when he makes the wish.

I personally find this theory to be stupid. The only thing linking these two series is that the same guy made them. Of course they're going to have similar characters, writers tend to stick to similar personalities (I know this because I'm a writer and I accidentally do this a lot). It's like the Marvel universe. One creator, one universe. It's possible that because Butch Hartman created both the Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom that the Fairy World and the Ghost Zone exist together, but again, that's the only thing linking the two.

This is off topic, but I think there's a message behind Fairly Odd Parents. When Timmy turns 13, he looses all the memories he had with the Fairly Odd Parents and looses every memory. Timmy had a horrible childhood. Which is why he was given fairies. Of course he knows he will eventually lose them, and have to go back to a very boring life. So it makes sense that he made his final wish into a more interesting life. He would definitely do that, considering he is very used to having a unique life, and clearly abuses the power of wishes a lot.
Of course, this theory would make sense in the final day that Timmy actually has his fairy godparents. Relationships with his friends could have changed. Chester may have joined sports in high school and ditched AJ and Timmy. Tootie and Timmy May have ended up being friends.
Also, Jazz could be Vicky. I say this because Timmy never had an actual sister. Like it or not, the closest person to that was Vicky. Timmy’s parents never made time for him. Thus, he spent most his time with Vicky. It explains why this alternate universe, Jazz is Vicky. Maybe the ghost are the anti-fairies, because no matter what they are still around, including around adults. Danny’s parents neglect him (hunting ghost) like Timmy’s parents did. It’s just all too similar and too ironic that these characters are the same race and hair color.

I propose a different theory. What if the world of Danny Phantom is a bizarro world of Fairly Odd Parents? They could all still hold all the ground as in this theory, but different. Yes, they have met in the mini shorts, but could that be just all the different worlds combining? Or it just isn't canon, and the shorts are just to bring all the characters of the Nickelodeon community together? This would be cool.

About Jazz, I remember that Timmy wears pink because his parents expected a girl, so he decides to give his parents the daughter they wanted, so he gets a sister and that's how Jazz was made.
Or she could be Vicky. Timmy could have deep down like Vicky or at least had hope that she has some good in her heart so he wanted her to become the good person she could have been, and then she becomes Jazz, a kind and supportive sister to Timmy/Danny.
What I find more believable is Nickelodeon's already established canon that Jimmy Neutron and Timmy Turner are polar opposites in alternate dimensions.
As good as this theory may be, I have another theory. Due to some reckless wishing on Timmy's part, both of his parents die and Crocker learns he has fairy god parents, and he loses Cosmo and Wanda in the process. Having pity on him due to having lost everything, the fairy council make so that he grew up in a orphanage. A couple months later, The Mr. and Mrs. Fenton come to Dimmsdale with the plan of both attending Ghost con and adopting a child (since they were both busy, and Dimmsdale's orphanage was the nearest one), there they find Timmy (who changes his name to Danny to reflect his new life), and they take him home. But hey, that's just a theory. A Film Theory! Aaaaaand cut.
On that episode I don't remember, we get to see Timmy as an adult, with 2 childs and still living in the same house, so, yeah.
They could just disprove it. Federator is the studio that created both Danny and Timmy. Though it is kinda cool that they connect to the fans like this since they still animate for Nick.
I think that Timmy is Danny Phantom. It makes sense and is just really cool to think about. Some other people that I have talked to don't agree, but I do.
