I enjoy hearing Andrew talk about his designs. Fascinating. There are so many variables. Does anyone remember the blind golden eared Roy Cizek? He used acoustic suspension with a Q you could adjust from .6 to something like .8 or 1. They had a very tight bass sound with the low Q. He liked to use floor reinforcement and a 1500 hz crossover with a 10 “ or 8” woofer in a two way. The woofer would be low on the baffle and the tweeter right above with foam covering the front for diffraction. This gave the peerless tweeter a little reinforcement. That was a great rock speaker and I think it would still impress.
Andrew Jones should START HIS OWN COMPANY!
Outstanding. Thank you for the interview and for posting this.
Steve is the king of active listening noises!

I had 12 of his speakers back in the late 70s. Technically the improved versions.
I've been arguing these points about impedance and sensitivity and phase angle for decades.
great interview thanks Steve.
Next time please put mike closer to Andrew and put another camera on screen that shows graphs. Great video anyway
Mr.Audiophiliac, can we see the graphs please?
Great video.
Too bad Guttenberg's mike is 10 times louder than Jones'
Get a sound engineer next time. This is nearly impossible to listen to.
