I have a bad back with DDD and I cannot sleep in any bed. I have slept in a recliner for years. I really would like to have a lift chair to help me stand. I am very impressed with your chairs being made in the USA.
Do not buy a new Golden lift chair if you need it to work right away. Ours didn't work at all (even after extensive troubleshooting), and Golden has been completely unapologetic and slow to make things right. They initially sent the wrong replacement handset and then sent us the correct one via a slow shipping method (still hasn't arrived) just to save a few bucks. So it's been a week with a defective chair now, we still don't know if the chair will work, there are no refunds (only replacement parts and/or repair techs sent at their leisure) once you open the box. Buyer beware!
I have a Golden Lift Technology chair PR 510-MLA and it is the worst chair I've ever had. If you like sitting on cement blocks you will love this chair. My fault for buying it. The thing I really don't like about it is you will be replacing the remote at $90 bucks a pop because they don't put a strain relief on the wire and eventually the wires break internally. In all fairness, the company sent me one free even though it was out of warranty. Build them better. and they should last longer than 2 years. I'm in the market for a new chair and will I buy a GT? Maybe.......

Why are they shipping it? If you bought from an authorized dealer they could have replaced the entire chair.
