      Even if it wasn't you can sharpen it. The other components will break or fail before you run out of blade to sharpen

    Will it cut ABS?

    That’s cold brother. But I ain’t checking for that on a cold day, cutting pvc. Either make the slicing element heated, or fashion it as a swivel type sawzall. Just set your pipe in the hooks that you already have there, and have the swivel head sawzall blade come in from the opposite direction. Done dadda. When you’re trying to make a tool, always ask the lazy guy. That’d be me. Lolz.
    Now give me a 120v portable power station that will work with my dewalt tough system 2.0, before Milwaukee does it.

    I noticed in the shot starting at :41, there are some angled cut pieces. Is it hard to keep square while cutting fast?

      I have this tool, the blade will push the pvc flat against the base for a perfect 90 degree cut everyrime.

    Who made this so you had to reverse the drill, just have it cycle in and out with the forward trigger pull like the pruner. Pull to cut, release it retracts. This is a very dumb design. I wanted to like this so much but I can't even imagine switching from forward to reverse 500 times a day.

    Is it work with old style 14.4v dewalt drill (non-impact)?

    • @acmetools
      @acmetools  Год назад

      This is an interesting question! We're honestly not sure. The shank is a 1/4" hex, so that could work, but the foot may not mount properly to support the tool on the drill. Unfortunately we don't have any 14.4's around any longer to test this out.

      It says 2" pvc. Sch 80 I would not crank it super fast, let it work through the extra thickness
