A kite is not a bicycle. A 10 years old bicycle can use 20 years more. A kite is just a piece of fabric. For me it last only 200 sessions about 2 years. After that it has UV damage and the material rip like paper. That UV damage can’t see. Also after 2 years valves come off or break. I talk about tropical region. In cold countries with low UV radiation it could be different. A board can last many years. But straps, harness, bar lines and impact vest also made of fabric and does not last very long.
