I like how you mentioned stocks and trading. I was always told to save NEVER invest. Now I’m starting to invest, but if I were doing that all along instead of saving then I could have had a nice nest egg. Also, for college, I went for 1 year to a university, then decided to take trade. Long story short, I have no loans or debt and I’m making a good salary . 😌

But I understand the point of home ownership. I have classmates who never paid rent or mortgage in their lives because their homes were family owned already. It's a head start for sure. How much money could we save and invest from 18-late adult years not paying rent or mortgage. I would be a millionaire for sure.

I was never taught about how important credit was, my parents were good parents but they still don’t have their finances together til this day and they in they late 60s. Its a Huge commitment and if you're not fully prepared/knowledgable you can find yourself in a world of headaches(speaking from experience 🤯) I 100% agree with you about these new builds; they just be throwing these houses up smh. Fb groups are everything! I got tired of being in the office setting & joined a work at home group. That helped me find more jobs that Indeed & other job sites. Also, I’m all for black girl luxury. I’m trying to learn to treat myself & step out of survival mode!

You need a walk-in closet. You can always get a extra room when you decide to buy if you do and make that your closet. It’s hard to find your clothes when there bunched up together. Be swearing I’ve lost something but it’s always in my face. Just be under something is all 😂

How is the rental with having all the dogs, I live in a neighborhood and my neighbor is so nosy she is the head of the HOA and honey she is a black Karen. Hope your neighbors are cool, that is the worst.
The last one was fine, we don’t bother anyone and keep the dogs under control. This week some how one of the puppies “jumped the fence,” which is over 6ft ( we suspect the little boy next door opened our Gate or the ppl across from us took him because they weren’t helping) but everyone was nice and helped us and eventually one of them located him for us and the neighbor who found him, held him, kept him safe and was looking for the owners on his own... we have the cameras up now and a padlock on the gate too 🙂
