Half an hour to make fantastic trailer music. But many years required for that level of expertise and vision. Fantastic. Thank you for posting this. It's extremely beneficial for aspiring composers.
Hi thanks for kind comments everyone, re. verbs I usually use the TC6000 but when I do these demos I have to stay in the box so plump for the native lexicon package... Best. C
Project Sam has a bunch of tutorials on RUclips which is why I purchased Their libraries. Now after watching this guess what? I'm off to buy Albion ONE. This is by far a great way to experience a library pre purchase and equally important. . .see a master at work. Great job. I bet if you do this for all your products, sales will jump. Cheers.
Amazing video demonstration, and amazing talent shown here! I just bought Albion One yesterday after following the Spitfire RUclips channel for a while now. I'm thrilled to have this library now and I have a project to use it on right away. Can't wait to dig into this library.
I'm aware I'm late to this, but thank you so much for making this video! I've been pondering whether to buy this library (seeing as it's currently at 50% off right now). It's always nice to see a professional using it in action!
i purchased, and like so many libraries after downloading i loaded up and played a few notes waiting to be un impressed. However these are the only plugins i ever bought that made me sit up in my chair and figure out what the range of each instrument was! These are absolutely stunning in every way !
compared to all Master Classes one can buy, definitely one of the most insight full things I have ever seen ! Thanks and keep this sort of things coming !
Now that Solstice is out OH MY GOD ITS FULL OF STARS!! I can create full works by improv with these gorgeous sounds and composer stimulation modules. Albion One is the mandatory library for sure, but solstice is an experience
FANTASTIC ! A detailed info about setting up the Project Template in Logic X will help us all. Can you please give us some more info about the MIDIController you are using to control the Expression and the Modulation parameters? Thanks.
They don't generally answer on here but I may be able to give you a hand. For scoring to video I've found the best way in Logic is to open up the Music For Picture template provided by Logic and change the arrange window to your liking from there and save it as a new template. I have a template which automatically loads Albion and some other libraries I use along with some soft synths etc. However, I sometimes just use the Logic preset template if I need to look at something from a fresh angle, otherwise you can find yourself relying on the same tools for every project, which can lead to some stale compositions (at least with me it does). Also the controller he's using is a Behringer BCF2000, a great, affordable controller. You can just set the MIDI CC of the fades to parameters in Kontakt to control expression etc. Hope that helps.
i just got albion one today, and out of the box they dont sound as Loud and Clear as they sounded here in your video. i assume you are using some effects to bring out that sound quality. Please help!
Excellent! Thanks for the real-time composition! I love Albion and love the fact that you use the Behringer mixer, as well. However, I can't get it to work for me as well as you do, though. Could you give me a pointer how you set the Behringer up to work as expression and modwheel (I am a bassist and this whole midi-thing drives me CRAZY! 😁 )? I work on Logic X. Thanks and big cheers from Hamburg!
There's no piano in Albion ONE. Like @Maximilian Koller said, the trailer uses the felt piano from the Olafur Arnalds Composer Toolkit. But if you're in a pinch, the free Soft Piano from Spitfire Labs is an _excellent_ substitute felted piano. It sounds better than most paid piano libraries!
Need help about how the set up all logic channels and kontakt libraries for orchestra composing . Where I can find a good tutorials about how to set up a template ?
I've just picked up a BCF2000 myself and am having trouble setting it up with midiCCs. Would greatly appreciate if you could illustrate how you've mapped that out.
What is the name of thes effect that u used like horror glitch strings sound? . U should right every name of spitfire library in the description. Thanke you
Question: How do I assign the BCF2000 faders to Kontakt's parameters? Expression, dynamics, etc. The faders are bound to track volume knobs only. I'm using Reaper and specifically Albion One :) Thanks!
A really wonderful look at composition and the sounds of this truly special library. It was all done in Albion One except for the piano right? Which Ólafur library was used for this?
I wish you could use some other DAW's as well/ Not everybody uses MAC. Do some with Ableton, /cubase etc. Not all features you use are the same adn available on other DAW or they operate different. Other than that I really enjoy your videos.

@Khris Clymer The question i ask myself each time i look at a spitfire tutorial
WOW! I was completely depressed but this has really given me a new glimpse of optimism. Thank you so much for this..
Just got Albion One yesterday. So. Worth. it.
What DAW do you use it with?
This tutorial is always a fuel for inspiration and compels me to actually sit down and make something. Thank you christian.
Advertising a product by using it on another advertising.

Genuinely one of the most impressive videos I’ve ever seen on RUclips. Awesome stuff!

just happened the same. And I fell for it, I just bought it, $225.00 .... Albion One.... now, to download 80GB....
i purchased, and like so many libraries after downloading i loaded up and played a few notes waiting to be un impressed. However these are the only plugins i ever bought that made me sit up in my chair and figure out what the range of each instrument was! These are absolutely stunning in every way !
So good! Amazing sounds, and love watching and listening to you work. Thank you for sharing your process and talent!

Albion One is the mandatory library for sure, but solstice is an experience

Absolute magic.. A must see.
Great stuff... I cannot wait to purchase the new Albion samples! It is going to revolutionise my composition!

Appreciate this video on many levels. Thank you!

It is indeed!
I love that you included the legacy sounds as well!
its always awesome to watch the process of some epic scoring :)
Great video, thank you! Love that OA piano drowning in reverb :)
24:30 enjoying the peaceful piano refrain and then BOOM jumped out of my chair 😅
Incredible!

Joe Brown thanks a ton sir for taking time out and replying in detail. Really appreciate it !
No problem, happy to help!
+Joe Brown Hey Joe, I really appreciate it if you can send me the template for my logic Pro X Too... My Email: xzafiamusic@me.com
Expresion, Modwheel... what other CCs?
This was really insightful, thanks for doing this.
Brilliant CH... you're hired!
That was fun to see! Thanks!
i just got albion one today, and out of the box they dont sound as Loud and Clear as they sounded here in your video. i assume you are using some effects to bring out that sound quality. Please help!
Great video Christian!
Is that olafur arnalds piano also included in the albion one?
Fantástico.. gracias por estos videos tutoriales. Gracias!
Excellent... very insightful.

I can't find the Big ´Ol Darwin Sound?!
Thanks for the demo! What piece of kit are those faders? Looking for something more affordable than the JL Cooper Fadermaster.
Hello, is it made 100% with Albion One (and Logic as I can see), no additionnal products ?
On sale for the rest of 5/2021
What is the model name of the fader equipment used in the video?
Hi .. Im newbie in Albion One ... is it possible download your session to look up in hot session when I watchin masterclass ? Thanks
Is the piano included in Albion ONE? Great video, very inspiring.
No, I think its the Ólafur Arnolds Composer Toolkit (Felt Grand Piano)
There's no piano in Albion ONE. Like @Maximilian Koller said, the trailer uses the felt piano from the Olafur Arnalds Composer Toolkit. But if you're in a pinch, the free Soft Piano from Spitfire Labs is an _excellent_ substitute felted piano. It sounds better than most paid piano libraries!
Not sure if my question is rude.. Would it be possible to ask you to upload the midi file / logic project for download ?
Thanks
- Vic
Brilliant Thanks - Is the Reverb The Native Instrument RC24 or 48? Whats the Total Library size and do you need the full Kontakt Player?
Hi Christian, what is the device you're using with your left hand? Is it just a mixing board? Is it recording midi data about your volume-slide?
What kind of brand is the fader / mixer ?
Need help about how the set up all logic channels and kontakt libraries for orchestra composing .
Where I can find a good tutorials about how to set up a template ?
What key is this track in? At first I thought B minor, but now I just can't tell. Or is it one of these "no tonal center" scales?
does velocity work with the brass longs? I can only get them working with the shorts
What FADER device are you using and is it easy to set up ( for expression and vibrato)
13:35 Aren't they called Brunel loops?
I've just picked up a BCF2000 myself and am having trouble setting it up with midiCCs. Would greatly appreciate if you could illustrate how you've mapped that out.
I use a BCF2000 and BCR2000, with Reaper and Kontakt. What sort of issues are you having with your CC assignments?
I guess he needs to map the Midi CCs to the faders, like Christian's.
Modwheel, Expression... Is that volume or velocity on the 3rd fader?
What is the name of thes effect that u used like horror glitch strings sound? . U should right every name of spitfire library in the description. Thanke you
such keyboard talent.
could you do a video on your computer and what the specs are? would love to know which processor and ram you have and GPU
Brilliant!!!
Chris to say I'm impressed is a complete understatement! one query though does Albion have any 'Choir' patches ?
Question: How do I assign the BCF2000 faders to Kontakt's parameters? Expression, dynamics, etc. The faders are bound to track volume knobs only. I'm using Reaper and specifically Albion One :) Thanks!
A really wonderful look at composition and the sounds of this truly special library. It was all done in Albion One except for the piano right? Which Ólafur library was used for this?
do you guys have a template for the behringer controller? great video!!!
Yes! I have been looking for a way to set my BCF200 up like this for 3 days now. Did you find anything?
Hello Florian ,Are you already sorted out ? it is driving me nuts !
a shot at every „ah“ and you are off to rehab in a minute.
A question, are the instrument samples Transposed, like if I play a C on my Keyboard with a Horn, will it sound like Concert C or Concert F??
Hi Christian! What kind of metronome you used in this video? Or its just the Klopfgeist settings? Thanks!
Sounds like the mpc click
Is this all from Albion One?
brilliant! a great lesson :)
Does Albion one includes Albion neo too?
No, it does not. They may have it in a combined package at some point, but not at the moment.
Can someone please tell me how when he records/plays "live" the notes seem to automatically quantize?
Does the Albion contain some choir samples as well ?
Amazing!
I have no idea how to set up my BCF2000 to control expression / mod . Help!
What fader are you using?
Hi everyone !
what is the piano library used here please ?
He said in the video. It's an olafur arnalds kit.
Super! Thank you!
what reverb/delay did you use for that piano?
Very John Adams circa 1986!
What application are you using?
is this daw Logic?
What sequencer software is used here, guys?
He's using Logic.
No 8bit?
I wish you could use some other DAW's as well/ Not everybody uses MAC. Do some with Ableton, /cubase etc. Not all features you use are the same adn available on other DAW or they operate different. Other than that I really enjoy your videos.
the workflow is different but fundamentally they can all achieve the same results
What's the midi desk you're using for volume/expression?
Looks like a Behringer BCF2000 (B-Control Fader)
@@NearSilent Cheers! It looks like the sort of thing I'm after.
Cool, very cool.
Sound are Great
