Acknowledgement of achievement is good but ego is a man's downfall, there's no two way about it. Ego goes hand in hand with fear, insecurity and envy. Try to not let it control you, focus more on the work, it will give you more peace.

Thing is that English isn’t her first language so it’s not her ‘real’ accent per se…she didn’t necessarily grow up speaking like that but she does sound posh

I used to work with a guy decades ago who was so chill and lovely, but he also seemed to just glide around like he was on wheels or hoovering. To this day I don't understand how he did it, and I have never been able to replicate it. I swear some people have some fairy (or cat?) blood or something in them, just makes them beyond the elegance and poise the rest of us mortals can ever hope to attain. Blanchett is definitely one of those otherworldly people none of us can compete with
