One of the very few parts imo that’s perfectly matched the vibes that the song Is giving off. Giving very much silent circles vibes with how much the deco changes and is just inconsistent overall. I wanna like this level but it’s looks so bland.
1:11 - 1:23 definitely the best part so far. The subtleties, like the level freezing for a second, the icon fading out, the frames showing mysterious text and the underlying layout, along with the stunning static effect, perfectly captures that unsettling and empty, despite silly, atmosphere characteristic of this level.
I can’t tell if this is genuinely how the level works or if it’s like spliced recordings, but I feel like the way you can see the layout between parts is actually really cool and unique. The fact that the level is completely monotone gives the special ability to kinda have that fit in. Some of the parts, like the sloped spider, feel like they belong slightly less than others, but you can tell there is a consistent theme / deco style. I love the way the level looks and the feeling it brings. The atmosphere is great, kinda scary and desolate, and brings out a sense of fear. The final part with the trees in the bg moving so quickly really exemplify that, making it feel like you’re being chased by something. Great work, I can’t wait to see the fully finished product!! ^_^

My biggest problem with the level is that the deco doesn't match the intensity. There are so many places where it would be such an easy fix to just add pulses that match the song, but without anything like that, the level feels disconnected and boring. Some examples of parts that execute the theme really well are: 1:151:281:41 Edit: mom I’m somewhat well known
as wherwin said i think exasperation had most character when it was created as that legendary video with no deco... but having it decorated feels inevitable and i loved the way it turned out. great job thycket and the rest
To be honest, I like exasperation without the deco. The old exasperation has a certain charm to it that makes you really uncomfortable watching the level. Having it decorated just remove a lot of it's eeriness and now this level just looks like firework. Some of the parts looks dope tho good work
@@roachewy not even a similar one, but try to listen to The Seer from the rock band Swans, its a 32 minutes song with a very dark atmosphere and if you are not into weird genres of rock in general it would be a very extreme, noisy and exhausting travel.
The finale is so good. I personally don't like the main idea of it being the forest, because for me this level is like an anomaly, that exists only inside the game, and trying to imitate the game itself and other levels. But the way the ending is created is amazing. The forest itself is glitchy, you clearly can see default blocks behind it and the question mark orbs. Like you can see it attempts to imitate something outside the game, but fails even more. And the wall of spikes on the final second. Just a wall of spikes, the most effective way to prevent the player from beating the stage. The perfect detail. 2:07 Also this moment, when the player falls through the map. Very simple detail, but it makes my skin goosebump. Just like this moment 1:59 , the same thing. A little con: here 3:50 , on the second preview for the level, during the voiceline, the gitches were super intense, like it was destroing the level by being so uncanny. In this preview this feature is missing sadly for me. 4:33 also i love this pulsing pattern, really cool. Also the transition to this small auto part is very epic. The glitch is super fitting here. And about the glitches. Feels like the new preview has less of them than the last one and this makes me sad. You can say anything about the glitches, but this level is a perfect place for them
i feel like the dash orbs at 2:10 should have more intense deco, pulses etc just to match the vibe of the song more. but this is still super impressive and i cant wait for the full thing🙂🙂
This level needs to be more crazy and creepy imo. Transition at 4:33 just breaks the whole atmosphere, like the word "ready... " before it. It would be better if there were distorted versions, like "taebv?" and that transition like a weird flash with hidden "sycro". Also random distorted and meaningless/things would fit the level so well. I think it important for level to keep atmosphere of a strange and broken dream.

Please don’t take this as me bashing your work, I think your part as a whole looks great, but that transition is honestly pretty lame and lackluster compared to the way the rest of the level feels. The fact it’s so bland and all you can see if your name and icon (which, i get the usage of your icon, but he looks too happy to be there lmao) it just kinda ruins the immersion for me. Adding some sorta effect even if it’s a fade to black to go w the music would be really cool seeming. Also I thought of a fix to the icon thing, maybe make it flicker between yours and the one from Requiem? (I’m sure it’s been used before that but I can’t think of the first usage rn.) It would be more inline with the rest of the level for sure. All in all, I love your part, but the transition should find a way to be improved. The way the corridor flickers is a really cool touch, especially between each spam intensity. Also the trees w the background flash look AMAZING, i really love that effect. This level never deserved the immense hate it received. I always liked it because im a sucker for obscure levels. Its even better now that its decorated. I love it.
Repetitive things is like bad, BUT I have no idea how all these creators managed to make the repetition a good thing, the intimidation and the atmosphere are just stunning. I just love it
This level is still alive? Honestly I gotta respect that, I used to hate it but the fact it lives on all these years later is worth giving it credit for. Also I just like how batshit insane it is, it's grown on me lmao
The deco is somewhat decent but I think that: 1. you need to be able to see more the darkness doesnt work for the level. This level has to be scary but its not that scary if you can’t see anything. 2. It needs to be more intense glitchy stuff like that, something encompassing insanity. The only part that does this pretty well is 1:11. The whole level with this atmosphere could make this a masterpiece.
I love this so much, and every part flows very well to me, especially 1:11 to 1:24, love those "glitchy" effects. There is something that doesn't fit that well at all for me, though and it's the white ground pulses from deltaaime's part, it makes the ground feel a little bland (rest of that part is very good, though, only saying that imo it could pulse to a dark grey or something like that and it would fit a bit better). Nice job y'all, I'm waiting for this, I love it! PD: If ever verified, this would be top 1? You ain't nerfing it or anything, right?
we do want to make this top 1 but we are unsure if it can be left completely unnerfed since thats a bit unrealistic, OG exasperation is estimated to be around unnerfed silent clubstep difficulty (that's a bit of speculation though)
this level is actually really cool like unlike peaceful, too kid friendly and Collab level this level throws you straight into this unsettling looking effects and really strange and kinda gimmicky gameplay with really hard timings and kinda dark gameplay.
what the hell, I thought this level was long forgotten and over with in 2017. The last thing I expected was a whole redecoration, hell, even a mention of this level, in the year 2023. Keep up the spicy work

Very good preview so far! I do have some feedback, but this is just my personal opinion. It feels like in some of these parts, glow was tried, but it sort of lacks it. One thing that could be done is to add some low opacity scaled glow to the grounds. The pulsing is so far one of my favorite deco aspects, but maybe tone back on the amount of high-intensity flickering in some parts. I really appreciate the the effort to make a lot of unique decoration that i rarely ever see, even managing to pull off some very thought out design, atmospheres, and effects, all while using some of the most basic blocks in the editor. The deco so far has a pretty consistent good quality. I love the fact that the level constantly looks back on the old layout, and reminding the player/viewer of the old “design”, while showing off the very solid new decoration that fits the song well. Some of the parts are a lot darker that others that are very flashy and light, a little more consistency with the lighting would be amazing.Keep up the good work!
The deco is horrible, I expected something truly hideous and bad decored but this deco is very very nice and detailed, personally I don't feel it fits the level, but my respects for all the decorators, what an amazing job!

I'm not joking when I say this, this is the best upcoming list level period. This is just perfection, it makes such perfect use of the song and the deco is so good. This shit has better atmosphere than Slaughterhouse, only this level isn't carried only by the song. I wish I could understand how much effort was put into this, the only level I've watched that has ever put a smile on my face. This is peak Geometry Dash I'm not joking, better than Change of Scene, better than KOCMOC, better than everything. Favourite Geometry Dash level, 11/10. I wish I could praise more. (seriously I know it looks like im joking but I'm not this is truely peak)
This kinda looks like a really good combination of levels like Unknown, Firework, Nhelv,Grief etc... I'm no creator, but this actually looks very interesting and it kept me engaged for the whole 5 minutes! (also I might have some bias towards the funny meatball loud impossible map:)
this level has planty of potential as a megacollab and a former impossible level, but here's my review: I don't like the ground spikes in HaellM's part. Kacurro's part needs more variation in spike design, and the saw design is too basic. SunyX's part feels mysterious and lacks synchronization at 0:31. Linox's part has a "churchy" feel, and the fake orbs at the end look messy. Pumpkeh's part lacks contrast in block design and has a spike design reminiscent of another level. SunyX + M3dinaGX's part has lazy block design and needs improvement in ground spike design. XCMINES + Sycro's part has excessive pulses despite a mute song. Chuckgamer1's part has basic spike design and visual bugs in pulses. Wabug's part has overly basic design, too much electricity, and an unappealing hanging structure. Fleym's part has basic block and spike design but intricate pulses. Ihsa's part feels calm and lacks synchronization. GDNacho's part relies too much on glow and has generic spike design. Schizonek + Gother's part doesn't fit the level, feels medieval, and has repetitive orb design. Deltaaime's part has disliked fence structures, repetitive saw design, and generic block design. Mexui + Kacurro's section feels generic, and Duke's unfinished part lacks creativity. Ballistic's part is skipped. Skywalker2016's part has repetitive block design. Juanchus04's part copies spike design from another level and feels similar to Skywalker's part. Hakim Bey's part is too "bricky" and messy. Sycro's part at 4:28 feels early 2.1, and showing names during the level is unnecessary. In the final wave, remove trees, improve pulse synchronization, and eliminate generic ground spikes and rocks. Remove occasional reveal of default blocks. Sycro's part at the end feels too bushy, and approaching spikes seem like a last-minute addition, lacking creativity. well thats it, im not hating on the level, i know it's unfinished, but i don't think it's "95% done", i'm just stating that i should be the polisher of the level, since i am decent at decorating levels because i have done that before twice.
Soo this is going to be a long review of the deco, as a fan of this level. I'll be reviewing every part, and I'll list what I like and dislike about each part. I'm going to review other parts later, so if you want to, you can look back every so and so to see if I added more. I'll probably finish this before the weekend is over. 0:07 So, to start off with HaellM, I don't know whether I like it, or if I don't. At first, I thought it didn't fit, but after my 5th rewatch, I started to warm up to it. I like how it keeps the original block in the front, and how the deco is somewhat simple. I think that if it had a little less glow, then it would really fit. 0:16 Kacurro's part for me looked like it resembled firework almost. It just didn't really say Exasperation, the deco is really good, but I think it just doesn't resemble the level. SunyX's part I think resembled the level really well, the only thing I didn't get, was that you can't see much of the gameplay which is what made exasperation a unique impossible level. Linox's part is basically the same is SunyX. Great deco, but I can't see the gameplay. Since Pumpkeh's part isn't finished, I don't have much to say, but it looks good, and represents the level well with the cube randomly rotating. SunyX + M3dinaGX's part is well made, but it just doesn't pop to me. The song has silence, when bam that's a joke son. It should pop and catch you by Suprise rather than being Oh, there is deco. XCMINES + Sycro's part is amazing, and I love it. It captures the randomness of the song and has an amazing transition. Chuckgamer1's part represents the abrasiveness of the song in a beautiful way. It is just starts with the upside-down swoops, followed by the dreaded straightfly, and the wave spam. The deco for the swoops is good, and the deco for the straightfly and spam is so simple and fits the song perfectly. wabug's part I have mixed felling about. The first "part" I like, because of the simple, but effective deco, and the percentages at the bottom. I adore the orb spam part, but the straight fly just kind of looks lazy. Fleym's part is great the way it is, it's not perfect, but represents the song and level well. I'm going to add more parts later so stay tuned for the rest of the parts. (I'll probably make a reply saying I have added more.)
It looks amazing, though I think the flashing in the beginning can be a little less, because people will see that SO MANY TIMES while trying to verify this one day. EDIT: rewatching it only Linox part is a little heavy on the flashing
Honestly it’s not that intense, I think it’s livable. If it was something more like 18% then I’d agree. But again, I feel like unless you’re playing with full brightness in pitch black, the beginning would be fine.

the final part with the wave stuff is REALLY cool lookingt
this level is actually really cool like unlike peaceful, too kid friendly and Collab level this level throws you straight into this unsettling looking effects and really strange and kinda gimmicky gameplay with really hard timings and kinda dark gameplay.
This level will get its top 1 status robbed by another level with intense amounts of wave sections and frame perfects with the most generic deco ever

I love Firework but its nowhere near where I would love the atmosphere of this level to finish being
Firework is some kind of inminent god like threat
Exasperation feels like the lost of all hope
But also a little bit of unknown threat like when you saw a horror movie as a kid and next thing you needed to do was go to bed

The intensity is fine how it is near the end of the part but in the beginning it just feels a little too calm compared to the song, but yeah it looks good.
Very good preview so far! I do have some feedback, but this is just my personal opinion. It feels like in some of these parts, glow was tried, but it sort of lacks it. One thing that could be done is to add some low opacity scaled glow to the grounds. The pulsing is so far one of my favorite deco aspects, but maybe tone back on the amount of high-intensity flickering in some parts. I really appreciate the the effort to make a lot of unique decoration that i rarely ever see, even managing to pull off some very thought out design, atmospheres, and effects, all while using some of the most basic blocks in the editor. The deco so far has a pretty consistent good quality. I love the fact that the level constantly looks back on the old layout, and reminding the player/viewer of the old “design”, while showing off the very solid new decoration that fits the song well. Some of the parts are a lot darker that others that are very flashy and light, a little more consistency with the lighting would be amazing.Keep up the good work!

The deco is horrible, I expected something truly hideous and bad decored but this deco is very very nice and detailed, personally I don't feel it fits the level, but my respects for all the decorators, what an amazing job!
Honestly really dig with the idea of exasperation being a top one impossible level. The last 20% is so intense and surreal, I love that.
Criticism: The effect at 2:51 should last until the spicy meatball comes (until skull's part end)
Another critism: Some people may not like it but I feel like sycro's part would be much better with screen effects like taco's part in grief

I'm not joking when I say this, this is the best upcoming list level period. This is just perfection, it makes such perfect use of the song and the deco is so good. This shit has better atmosphere than Slaughterhouse, only this level isn't carried only by the song. I wish I could understand how much effort was put into this, the only level I've watched that has ever put a smile on my face. This is peak Geometry Dash I'm not joking, better than Change of Scene, better than KOCMOC, better than everything. Favourite Geometry Dash level, 11/10. I wish I could praise more. (seriously I know it looks like im joking but I'm not this is truely peak)

this level has planty of potential as a megacollab and a former impossible level, but here's my review:
I don't like the ground spikes in HaellM's part. Kacurro's part needs more variation in spike design, and the saw design is too basic. SunyX's part feels mysterious and lacks synchronization at 0:31. Linox's part has a "churchy" feel, and the fake orbs at the end look messy.
Pumpkeh's part lacks contrast in block design and has a spike design reminiscent of another level. SunyX + M3dinaGX's part has lazy block design and needs improvement in ground spike design. XCMINES + Sycro's part has excessive pulses despite a mute song.
Chuckgamer1's part has basic spike design and visual bugs in pulses. Wabug's part has overly basic design, too much electricity, and an unappealing hanging structure. Fleym's part has basic block and spike design but intricate pulses.
Ihsa's part feels calm and lacks synchronization. GDNacho's part relies too much on glow and has generic spike design. Schizonek + Gother's part doesn't fit the level, feels medieval, and has repetitive orb design.
Deltaaime's part has disliked fence structures, repetitive saw design, and generic block design. Mexui + Kacurro's section feels generic, and Duke's unfinished part lacks creativity. Ballistic's part is skipped. Skywalker2016's part has repetitive block design.
Juanchus04's part copies spike design from another level and feels similar to Skywalker's part. Hakim Bey's part is too "bricky" and messy. Sycro's part at 4:28 feels early 2.1, and showing names during the level is unnecessary.
In the final wave, remove trees, improve pulse synchronization, and eliminate generic ground spikes and rocks. Remove occasional reveal of default blocks. Sycro's part at the end feels too bushy, and approaching spikes seem like a last-minute addition, lacking creativity.
well thats it, im not hating on the level, i know it's unfinished, but i don't think it's "95% done", i'm just stating that i should be the polisher of the level, since i am decent at decorating levels because i have done that before twice.
Soo this is going to be a long review of the deco, as a fan of this level. I'll be reviewing every part, and I'll list what I like and dislike about each part. I'm going to review other parts later, so if you want to, you can look back every so and so to see if I added more. I'll probably finish this before the weekend is over.
0:07 So, to start off with HaellM, I don't know whether I like it, or if I don't. At first, I thought it didn't fit, but after my 5th rewatch, I started to warm up to it. I like how it keeps the original block in the front, and how the deco is somewhat simple. I think that if it had a little less glow, then it would really fit.
0:16 Kacurro's part for me looked like it resembled firework almost. It just didn't really say Exasperation, the deco is really good, but I think it just doesn't resemble the level.
SunyX's part I think resembled the level really well, the only thing I didn't get, was that you can't see much of the gameplay which is what made exasperation a unique impossible level.
Linox's part is basically the same is SunyX. Great deco, but I can't see the gameplay.
Since Pumpkeh's part isn't finished, I don't have much to say, but it looks good, and represents the level well with the cube randomly rotating.
SunyX + M3dinaGX's part is well made, but it just doesn't pop to me. The song has silence, when bam that's a joke son. It should pop and catch you by Suprise rather than being Oh, there is deco.
XCMINES + Sycro's part is amazing, and I love it. It captures the randomness of the song and has an amazing transition.
Chuckgamer1's part represents the abrasiveness of the song in a beautiful way. It is just starts with the upside-down swoops, followed by the dreaded straightfly, and the wave spam. The deco for the swoops is good, and the deco for the straightfly and spam is so simple and fits the song perfectly.
wabug's part I have mixed felling about. The first "part" I like, because of the simple, but effective deco, and the percentages at the bottom. I adore the orb spam part, but the straight fly just kind of looks lazy.
Fleym's part is great the way it is, it's not perfect, but represents the song and level well.
I'm going to add more parts later so stay tuned for the rest of the parts. (I'll probably make a reply saying I have added more.)

It looks amazing, though I think the flashing in the beginning can be a little less, because people will see that SO MANY TIMES while trying to verify this one day.
EDIT: rewatching it only Linox part is a little heavy on the flashing
Honestly it’s not that intense, I think it’s livable. If it was something more like 18% then I’d agree. But again, I feel like unless you’re playing with full brightness in pitch black, the beginning would be fine.
