Special Olympics Guam holds 2024 track & field event at Okkodo High

Our community came out strong for the annual Special Olympics Guam track & field event held at Okkodo High School this morning in Dededo. Athletes that have been working hard all year competed in running long jump, standing long jump, softball throw, shot put, running events, race walk, wheelchair event, relay and motor skills event. The KUAM CareForce had the honor of being a station where athletes were awarded their medals and took pictures with their families, classmates, friends, military volunteers, and supporters.
We're one of a huge number of organizations dedicated to volunteering to make this a memorable island sports tradition.
