  • There are still some signs of where the old boundary between Milton Regis and Sittingbourne once ran.

      Which came first, Sittingbourne or Milton? Why were they so tangled into each other?

      @@Bug_H Well they are so close, they were always going to be mixed up with each other. But Milton with its port on the creek was probably first - water being main transport route. Sittingbourne came about because of the road and was much smaller to begin with.

    Loved the video! Great work!
    I moved to the high street recently, the house apparently built by a Dutch Captain. I was doing some research and read that Milton had its own Windmill , do you know about this ?

      Yes - we do have pictures... it was in Vicarage Road.. somewhere near the railway bridge
