- 3 eggs - 3 desert spoon caster sugar - 3 desert spoon warm water - about 3 cups plain flour - vanilla - about 1 1/2 litre Veg oil for deep frying - Icing sugar to sprinkle on top

Love that it’s just like cooking with a friend. Strangely my late mother used to make something similar but they are made with the thick ends of pastry when she makes her own filo. The off cuts. She would roll it and cut as you did these with 2 cuts and deep fried them. We had them with no sugar. I grew up on them and I’m 70 years old.
I can’t wait to make these cristoli your way I’m sure they will be lovely.
