- Zane is by far one of the most fun to play Vault Hunter in Borderlands 3. He's also one of the hardest to learn, esp for beginners. In this video we will be discussing all things Zane that are beginner friendly.

In the time period that this video was released you should have considered giving tips related to the DLC content, for explaining it in a way that is useful to the players and treat like they had picked it up recently with the DLC. For instance in my case I just got the whole pack, but I had the DLC for Season 1 and the game for PS4 had Flak experience, I was looking for details for Zane related, to the new content and other such.
The reason why I didn’t do anything related to the dlc is because not everyone owns the dlc. That’s also why I didn’t mention the 4th skill tree you can get with the dlc either. It’s just a simple basic beginners guide for people just picking up the game and wanting Zane tips.

Any recommendations for actual skills to open up as you level?
I would say the best skills to get as you level would be in the drone/clone skill trees. But the hood thing about leveling is you can have fun not worry too much about skills just try out what you think is fun and mess around a bit. But using the clone and drone they basically do all the work for you! Highly recommend those for sure.
@@MelMacTavish alternatively, do you think there are any that just aren’t worth spending points on? Not having to be whole trees.
@@nerdx00 I would say the ones I didn’t particularly like and wish I didn’t invest points into would be duct tape mod has long cool down, trick of the light, Schadenfreude and like a ghost. Now these are just my opinions on what I think aren’t worth because either they don’t do exactly what they say or they’re just meh.

Ikr! That’s one of my favorite vehicles to use use in the game because of how fast it is.
Lol the pace of thought is sooo all over the place it seemed frustrating but ended up quite funny actually, lol. Seems like you're in need of a guide yourself. My two cents: try muting your phone next time, might help you get some sort of coherent points across to your audience, once you actually manage to form them in your mind.

I’d say if he looks fun and interesting to play to you go for it. But bear in mind especially as a new player he is quite difficult to learn. If you have any questions don’t hesitate I’ll try to answer them if I can 😊
Down side to Zane, when he goes for FFYL, it’s hard to kill in the later mayhem levels, all his damage is mostly coming from kill skills, which don’t apply when downed, but just use a rocket launcher and you’re set

Just finished my first ever BL3 run. Used Zane, and his barrier skill. The tree is filled with survivability. I managed to finish the game without doing one side mission! Of course, now with mayhem mode unlocked, I’ll go back and complete them, because they’ll will scale to my level! I’m pointing this out, not to brag, but to show Barrier’s viability. Put skills as you go into whatever gets your barrier off cooldown faster.
I did a little research before starting my run, and two things stood out. First run should focus on survivability, instead of offense. And that the game is punishing enough, that some side quests will be needed to be strong enough to progress, even if it’s best to save them for after unlocking mayhem mode. Barrier got me through without needing to farm, grind or side quest.
Once i unlocked the capstone skill for the barrier tree, i added in Digi-clone. By the end of the game, i could maintain both through an entire mobbing situation, by resetting cooldowns by freezing an enemy.
I always faced enemies that were 2-3 levels higher. Not a problem. Listen, if i can do this, you can too.
