    My mechanic skills are a solid 0 out of 10 - thanks for walking people like me through it!
    I appreciate you mentioning what a pain in the ass the brake lever pin was gonna be. Woulda driven me nuts if I wasn’t expecting it.

    Any clearance issues with the fairings ?

  • @masterofchins

    Mechanic told me to just remove the rubber before trying to insert the brake lever pin. Came out easy using a small flathead screwdriver and pushing gently on its side. Attached the brake pin separated from the lever, inserted the rubber back in and then stuck on the lever.
    Also have to be careful about the brake pin. It should not be pressing in all of the time when the new lever is installed. This can apparently cause unvoluntary braking once the brakes heat up and the fluid is expanding.

    Can confirm that the RSV4 Levers do in fact fit. Just finished installing them. No fitment issues

      What year of leavers? I’ve got new rsv4 will the last model levers fit? As there available from asv but don’t list any for the new rsv 🤦🏼‍♂️

    does it helps the braking power or is it just cosmetic change and the fact that you get many brake lever positions?

    Hi what’s a semi adjustable lever? The standard one has span adjuster just like your spider one! Only difference is the spider one folds there for both are adjustable and non are semi adjustable correct? 😊 good video and interesting to know there mostly the same between bikes

    • @CaliMotoTV

    Good video on installation, extremely disappointed there is no actual review. I’m interested in these levers and can’t find much info online and the review should have at least dedicated 1-2 minutes on impression, feel, quality and potential downsides. I’m not even sure who makes the spider levers and have searched. These fun facts would have made a superb video.

      Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate the info. I know spider is the brand just can’t find their homepage, most of their items are through other retailers. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.

  • @gamingradius8057

    Why not get an aftermarket master cylinder like rcs 17 or 19 and racing mechanical clutch control ? That is if you intent to keep the bike for a long time.

  • @bobv7657

    I've been seeing some people talking about some after market levers hitting the faring at full lock. Can you confirm that these levers you installed don't hit?

    • @jonobnz7597
      @jonobnz7597 2 года назад

      did you ever find out if they hit the fairing?

    • @bobv7657
      @bobv7657 2 года назад

      @@jonobnz7597 No I did not. I installed Pro-Brake levers on my RS600, they are adjustable short to standard length, they come with a grommet that goes onto the fork lock pin to allow the brake lever to not hit the fairing. I still had to angle the brake lever down to find the sweet spot. That being said...I've currently got my bike in the shop for the cruise control not working properly. They are telling me it's because of the clutch lever I installed. The switch is not being hit properly and that the quick shift down will also not work. I only use the QS up, on the way down I use the clutch. Just not used to it yet. They told me that Apex levers work on the RS660. I like the shorty levers, so they are removing the levers I installed and installing the Apex levers. I'll let you know how I like them.

    Stop giving me ideas on what I can put on my RS 660. If it's true that it takes RSV4 levers, I'll be ordering soon. I don't get mine until the end of the month and I've already ordered some parts. On top of that, I just bought new Dainese gear. My wife is going to kill me.

  • @Allenamenwarenschonweg

    Yeah be careful with recommending "any" aftermarket clutch levers if they really are the same as the RSV4s. If the aftermarket manufacturers were sloppy with fitment, there is a chance that your clutch won't fully engage when fitting aftermarket levers on a RSV4 or Tuono V4. You will not notice it at first, but plenty of Couch and Transmission problems have been caused by this over the years.
