Tip, I saw you running from the variant of thunder kick if u miss, you can m1 them during it and it does 1 damage and knocks u back less. It’s very effective if u know u can’t run from the missed variant.
another thing you need to pay attention to is the opponents ping, if they have a high ping, the opponent might fall slower than others, or certain combos might not work, so you have to adjust your timings based off of that
i got a few tips for you guys (some specifically for pc players) 1. Side Dash Tips - Practice (obviously) - Gradually increase your sensitivity: increasing your sensitivity can be really demotivating especially when its by a large amount, so gradually getting used to sensitivities can help you move up more comfortably (sensitivity can be really helpful for quick turns and things like that so i recommend this as a cheap version of what is next) - MOUSE PADS AND DESK SPACE!! If you are able to, I highly recommend you get a large, rectangular mousepad so you can have more space for your mouse. A larger mouse pad can let you do things like flicking your camera (this can substitute for higher sensitivity as flicking can pretty much do the same) without any major setbacks, while with a small mousepad (I have a small mousepad and tried a larger one, it plays so much better as you get so much more control) you can hardly do flicks as your mouse may fall off the pad. 2. Fumbling Combos Tips - When you are going to uppercut, always hold space during the m1s before the final m1. Doing so has a far greater chance of the uppercut working. (basically when you start m1ing hold space and you should uppercut perfectly) - When trying to ground slam someone off of a ragdoll move like Flowing Water or Whirlwind Kick, always time it so the ground slam lands right as the enemy is getting up or use the ground slam the moment before they get up. (you have to do this because a while back there was a patch that made grounded players incapable of being hit w/ground slam m1s, so you have to time it right now) - When going for a basic m1 ground slam, you can slowly m1 so you have more time to react to your m1s, thus letting you jump faster and making the ground slam true 3. Techs, When to use them, and How to Prevent Them - THE MAIN THING YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT TECHS IS HOW THEY ARE PRIMARILY PING BASED. NO TECH WILL WORK ON A PLAYER UNDER A CERTAIN PING IF IT RELIES ON SOMETHING LIKE HUNTERSGRASP M1 TECH OR SHOVE M1 TECH. - With that being said, its highly recommended to use moves normally when the person you are fighting has low enough ping to not be effected by these techs. - There are no real way to prevent techs once you are hit, but there is some counter play, which mainly consists of side dashing right before a move is used or escaping a combo right before a move is used. 4. Relatively Unknown Move Facts & How They Can Help You - Some moves have things that happen when they hit you a certain way (ex: blocking the move) and these can either be good or bad for the person using them. I'll leave it up to you to find out the really tiny changes but there are some major ones I will point out. - Moves like Blitz Shot, Ignition Burst, and Foul Ball (ranged) all deal reduced damage when blocked and will perform the same knockback that plays when hit with a move like shove. - Flowing Water & Scatter both knock back further when blocked. - Shove & Hunter's Grasp knockback extremely far back when blocked, knockback a long distance when used normally, and a reasonable distance when used on a ragdolled opponent. - Grand Slam & Foul Ball both have 2 variants with each variant doing something different. - Ignition Burst, Machine Gun Blows, & Blitz Shot can all be used in the air for more control and aim over said move. - Prey's Peril slides you over to whoever hit you during the counter (sometimes breaks)
I don't see mouse pad helpful if your playing on low-mid sense on your mouse settings then yeah but any DPI above 1000 mouse pad isnt helpful if u just got desk space
Yes its true that if you hit the torso/head it works, but depending on the angle on how they land it can be inconsistent, so I like to just hit them as soon as they get up (you cant escape it as long as you don't have a counter, otherwise you can mash counter and get out)@@joel784
the thing is, at the higher skill level, the duels are just about "lets see who is more willing to dash first and get dashed behind" which makes the game slower as the skill gets higher. Also m1 trading is such a gamble sometimes, even against a metal bat.
another little tip on evasive, if you are like 1 hp and you have got hit by an attack that will soon damage you once you fall down (like saitama's normal punch) you might die, so evasive can save you from that too i saw a lot of people missing that chance to survive so use it if you can, maybe it will save you in a 1v1
one thing that I find easy to predict is when people counter. After three or four times it gets really repetitive and missing a counter costs you a lot.
As someone who already practices all these techniques and is at least decent at the game I still watched this cus this guy may not be the best of the best but his vids are pretty informative and I learned skill with genos through his vid on his rework
I started playing tsb 2 months ago and I main saitama because I got used to using it as default (I didn't know how to change avatars when I first started playing the game until my friend told me to change my character to hero hunter) and thank you for your guide and tips and tricks
I watched one guide vid from zeyu and realized, my playstyle is becoming pointless to these other players, i must adjust, and adjust i did because i can do full blown battles without worrying, this was good advice as well, it made me a bit better, so thank you for taking your times just to help us improve😊
Little tip to add:since your side dashes can get predicted if they are using atomic samurai or hero hunter side dash to them and dont do anything they will most of the time try to counter u but if they are not using gsriu or atomic samurai u can change your movements by side dashing one time to the left and the other right so when they block on a side you hit them from the other side(works 90% of the time except if the player is really good passive)
It's actually becoming a major problem with the game's playerbase how much people use that excuse. And no, Sonic and Genos don't spam, because all skills in this game have cooldowns. If the game's skills had no cooldown, then yes it is spam. The people that do use Sonic and Genos, are mostly ignorantly using skills to chip your hp. That's all
If you can side dash you can abuse Sonic's passive, not only do you dash almost instantly, it's harder for your opponent to predict or even see what direction you'll be dashing
for console, you have lock on so for tracking its pretty simple, but without lock on you need high sens to follow dashes around and to add on you can side dash out of m1s if you time it as soon as they hit you
btw you can also m1 catch, m1 catch is just another way to block someone when side dashing towards you. All you do is m1 right before they side dash towards you, lordheaven made a tutorial on it if you need to watch it.
I strongly agree with this video. Practice is key in this game. Flashy combos are just tricks. For example I know how to do the kyoto combo. I won't necessarily do it every time. Every once in a while for fun is alright. :v as he said it is very movement based and I can back this up confidently. The better you are at predicting knowing how the player may more and how you respond to it. You could easily win fights.
Here's a quick tip for all my console bros: use lock on, if you're close to your target, look at them and click L3, it makes you look directly at them, and if you forward dash past them, you IMMEDIATELY turn around and still hit them, it's honestly sorta OP.
Thx so much i started 3 days ago i always thought only side dashes and combos were everything now imma start training with your tips i will let ya know the progress

I remember playing this game for the first time and i hate it cause all my enemies defeat me and trash talk me and i quit the game, but after my friend keeps telling me to play i secretly played on my private server for like 5 months keep doing combos and dashes and stuff after it, i continued to get good in the game
Yooo,ty for these tips! Even tho the problem is when I get into large servers my ping immediately goes up and start to lag which this thing made my progress more hard, but ty for these tips !
My guide if u want to start playing (or just started) Actually no one character is better than another, its called skill Saitama is hard to learn but when u learn its better than everything Sonic is easy to learn so the skill floor is high, but the skill ceiling is very low so u cant really evolve ur combos as sonic because well, u can only go until a certain point which is the skill ceiling Skill floor : how good is a character when u first use it Skill ceiling : how good can a character become by mastering it So if u want to have something easy and that cannot become so much better pick sonic genos or atomic samurai, if u want a character that just is weak at the start but when its mastered it becomes much stronger Pick saitama or garou Metal bat is perfect balance, skill floor and ceiling not too low and not too high And if u lag a lot like me just give up ur attack are gonna be delayed like 10 seconds, even the dashes also u get randomly stuck in place Same goes to mobile, lags and also its hard to aim anything And console is mobile but worse
here's a tip for Xbox players I main Garou and I was an Xbox player I started very bad, I played for months and I started to get the hang of Dashing it helps u a lot, it takes a pretty long time to get good at dashing behind them, Xbox is way more different then phone and pc, Xbox is ten times harder u can't really turn the screen as fast as pc so its hard to block a move or m1s so if ur fighting a pro it's hard to block when they dash behind u all I'm saying is u can do so much with Xbox just don't give up its harder to do the combos if u can't block back dashing just spam jump they can't really hit u if u jump u can do a lot it's just harder.(i hope this helps)
As a mobile player, here is some tips for mobile players: USE AUTO USE. I PROMISE IT WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE EASIER. JUST CLICK ON SETTINGS AND TOGGLE IT. Use more than your two thumbs. Your right thumb just do so much, it clicks, moves the screen, tap the moves, etc. adjust your settings where you can use your other fingers as well. Make sure your fps is at least 30-60. A problem alot of mobile players have is having s#itty phones and tablets. Anything below 30-60 can affect your gameplay. Just fight in 1v1 and just avoid public servers if your phone sucks. Practice flicking your camera when side dashing because it is much harder in mobile.
for the awakening tip, as a deadly ninja main, i usually never use my ult even at low hp even in ranked, i only use till my opponent finally decides to use their ult (the only exception being Saitama's ult, i dont want to get hit by that death counter)
What u don’t know is that u can lock onto your opponent by using a controller you don’t need a console just the controller connect it to your device with either Bluetooth or with a cable then look at your opponent with them on your right side of your character but close to your body on your screen and press L3 wich is the left joystick (press down on it) and you should lock on
the spike in my skill happened when i first learnt to do the shove tech (aka: 3m1, shove + m1), which allowed me to learn that i could do the garou tech (aka: hunters grasp + m1)
this games seems super fun but I've just never been good at combo type games I'm just terrible at remembering button combos that's why I've never played any mortal combat games besides mortal kombat 3😭
A tip for xbox/playstation users like me: Stay on first person and clik the movement analogic exactly on your opponent, this will lock your camera into your opponent and u will NEVER miss a skill, combo or dash, ngl this is the most broken thing on the entire game
Unescapable m1 dash tip (works for all characters) Hit three times, side dash to the right or left, then front dash back at them, and continue your combo
The problem of blocking in mobile is that i cant really track them because of how much focus u need and there will be lag even a good phone(So my tactic is to just be aggressive and use side dash. I dont really use block because like i said u need more focus). Edit: (Works sometimes on pro pc players)
After watching this video, the moment I entered a server I got a 10 kill streak because of the dashing explanation and how to use. Thank you holy grail :D
7:46 just like Ssbu. Yeah learning patterns and using it against them. I am the task master at this point with learning patterns and using it against my enemies.
"whoever says to you "block spammer" is just saying that, because they're bad. They're saying it because your better then them. They're probably just worse at the game." Wise spoken words young man.🤣
y'know, i don't argue that a lot of people will call their opponent spammer if they're losing and mad, but i feel like there IS a definitife way to Spam in strongest battlegrounds. my definition is , like, for example, when you're fighting some person who just started playing, or haven't tried to learn combos yet, they'll probably just throw out their moves when ever they get an oppertunity, and that's what i consider spamming. it's usually not even effective, so there's no point in doing it, but it's definitely a real thing.
I started the strongest battlegrounds long time ago but i stoped playing. And now i came back to the game and main saitama (because hes cool :D) Your video really helped at the video moment i tried to practise at private servers
This is not my yt acc but i have practice alot i only have 1.6k kills tho. Im so good that i made a 5k kill guy RAGE QUIT because i predicted. Whenever i know the never front dash i just look quickly behind me while blocking an do a little combo.. btw im on xbox an they were on pc or computer
And here's another tip after using Saitama ult don't imidetly use a move look what they do if they walk away do nothing if they still attack you use death counter as soon as possible and don't activate Saitama ult when low it will not heal you
As a sole console player (yes, I’m not kidding here. I play on Xbox, lock on is CRUCIAL to me, although I’ll admit, it’s too good in general. Using metal Bat with this mechanic made me BETTER. Trust me, I didn’t know how to do the home run grand slam combo, and it clicked when you actually track their landing. I mix combos with this lock on. So they won’t even know what to even counter! This also goes well with Genos too, aiming becomes a breeze, and combos are devastating when you land one hit on the enemy. But to actually defend yourself against an enemy…well, that’s the hard part, you see.. lock on has issues catching up with fast players. Such has curve dashing and ect. But here’s the cool part about lock on, curve dashing becomes deadly. Genos ragdoll cancel can ACTUALLY save you, and retaliate with a stronger attack. Now pair this with lock on. You can INSTANTLY use it when a sonic or garou player and ect try to keep you on the ground. Note: use it when you think that’s all they need to do. Till then, let me know what I missed. Or what not.
Thank you for this video,Like really thank you.Ive been playing this game for the past months on mobile and this really helped me to improve my skills🤯
Here is some good advice if ur using genos and they call you a “spammer”, Genos is ment to spam ablitys. Because when you’ve killed someone, all your cooldowns get cut.
Now..technically this game is infact p2w. 1. Its pretty hard to side dash on mobile and console. But hella easy on PC. 2. Most tricks actually require good internet. Mobile and xbox devices can be laggy. I tried on mobile but ended up disconnecting. 3. Now if you play on xbox. People say lock on is overpowered. Not really.. lock on is good if you just dont side dash. But most of the time i dont use lock on. The only times i use lock on is if im tryna do 3 m1 and an uppercut and then a forward dash to create a loop dash. Its just an easier version of a loop dash.

I'm going to play this 1.1.2024 and this is the best tutorial ever.
I'll try hard sir 🙂
I have to say everything you’ve told me has made me way better at the game I think this guy honestly deserves a sub he’s amazing. Edit: A like too😝😗
Another tip from me is to know each move’s endlag frame, it’s going to be more useful than you think in a fight
im still a noob bruh
He said practice this
I was gonna say the same thing@@Ftk_matty
Practice it takes time yap
@@Gyro_3 same bro
Yo thanks for this guide, I’m good at the game and I didn’t think of these. Thank ya holy :D
I Didnt understand anything bro. This is confusing

Thank you.
For anyone playing on console just map your controls so doing something like side dashing while attacking or rotating while blocking makes it easier
What does that even mean
@@typeddellama3299 Like change the controls from the console settings. PlayStation/Xbox
Yooo,ty for these tips! Even tho the problem is when I get into large servers my ping immediately goes up and start to lag which this thing made my progress more hard, but ty for these tips !
Trust me a spammer is a real thing
mehhhh i dont trust it.
Sonic spammers 💀
u cant spam if theirs a cooldown
I liked my own comment
Ok
Trend is quite des
Nobody cares
My guide if u want to start playing
(or just started)
Actually no one character is better than another, its called skill
Saitama is hard to learn but when u learn its better than everything
Sonic is easy to learn so the skill floor is high, but the skill ceiling is very low so u cant really evolve ur combos as sonic because well, u can only go until a certain point which is the skill ceiling
Skill floor : how good is a character when u first use it
Skill ceiling : how good can a character become by mastering it
So if u want to have something easy and that cannot become so much better pick sonic genos or atomic samurai, if u want a character that just is weak at the start but when its mastered it becomes much stronger Pick saitama or garou
Metal bat is perfect balance, skill floor and ceiling not too low and not too high
And if u lag a lot like me just give up ur attack are gonna be delayed like 10 seconds, even the dashes also u get randomly stuck in place
Same goes to mobile, lags and also its hard to aim anything
And console is mobile but worse
Im kind of really trash in battlegrounds. And all that u said kind of do make sense. I'll try them for sure. Thanks
here's a tip for Xbox players I main Garou and I was an Xbox player I started very bad, I played for months and I started to get the hang of Dashing it helps u a lot, it takes a pretty long time to get good at dashing behind them, Xbox is way more different then phone and pc, Xbox is ten times harder u can't really turn the screen as fast as pc so its hard to block a move or m1s so if ur fighting a pro it's hard to block when they dash behind u all I'm saying is u can do so much with Xbox just don't give up its harder to do the combos if u can't block back dashing just spam jump they can't really hit u if u jump u can do a lot it's just harder.(i hope this helps)
As a mobile player, here is some tips for mobile players:
USE AUTO USE.
Practice flicking your camera when side dashing because it is much harder in mobile.
if you have really how download but slower upload then the person with see you in a place that you were in before, it’s kinda useful
for the awakening tip, as a deadly ninja main, i usually never use my ult even at low hp even in ranked, i only use till my opponent finally decides to use their ult (the only exception being Saitama's ult, i dont want to get hit by that death counter)
Tip for mobile players: when you want to mini uppercut when ur doing the M1s just hold jump when you hit the second M1
Tysm: The tip worked👍
8:17 used to make this mistake with saitama too much. Now I just do basic m1 to normal punch if evasive isn’t used
Earned a new sub
I can't be good in this game, heck I'm bad at everything. I've been playing this game for a year but I'm still not good at all.
this games seems super fun but I've just never been good at combo type games I'm just terrible at remembering button combos that's why I've never played any mortal combat games besides mortal kombat 3😭
Ez: the word you say when you acknowledge your opponents skills, normally after you win.
I have started about 8-10 months ago and ive been watching your videos alot, you have actually helped me become a gigachad in tsb
A tip for xbox/playstation users like me:
Stay on first person and clik the movement analogic exactly on your opponent, this will lock your camera into your opponent and u will NEVER miss a skill, combo or dash, ngl this is the most broken thing on the entire game
Unescapable m1 dash tip (works for all characters) Hit three times, side dash to the right or left, then front dash back at them, and continue your combo
Bro thanks u soo much now I'm very good at game
The problem of blocking in mobile is that i cant really track them because of how much focus u need and there will be lag even a good phone(So my tactic is to just be aggressive and use side dash. I dont really use block because like i said u need more focus).
Edit: (Works sometimes on pro pc players)
As a garou user, Genos and Tatsumaki users are way to crazy 😂
TYSM for the tip I tried all these techs I got to kill some good players and got over 100 kills today thx ❤
After watching this video, the moment I entered a server I got a 10 kill streak because of the dashing explanation and how to use. Thank you holy grail :D
This is literally the best guide thank you so much.
7:46 just like Ssbu. Yeah learning patterns and using it against them. I am the task master at this point with learning patterns and using it against my enemies.
thanks for the advice
"whoever says to you "block spammer" is just saying that, because they're bad. They're saying it because your better then them. They're probably just worse at the game." Wise spoken words young man.🤣
Is it valid when people get mad at you for using awakenings?
I swear you helped me so much with combos. You have made it way easier for me to use an ult! Thank you so much! ❤
y'know, i don't argue that a lot of people will call their opponent spammer if they're losing and mad, but i feel like there IS a definitife way to Spam in strongest battlegrounds. my definition is , like, for example, when you're fighting some person who just started playing, or haven't tried to learn combos yet, they'll probably just throw out their moves when ever they get an oppertunity, and that's what i consider spamming. it's usually not even effective, so there's no point in doing it, but it's definitely a real thing.
I started the strongest battlegrounds long time ago but i stoped playing. And now i came back to the game and main saitama (because hes cool :D) Your video really helped at the video moment i tried to practise at private servers
I like to look at it like all these stuff are stats: Combos, tracking/blocking, dashes and adaptability. Know which "stat" you need to put work into
You're so kind while giving tips. 😢
Tip for using death blow or death counter, make sure the enemy is about to hit you or go infront of them while they are using a ability/move or m1-ing
Incerinate with Serious Punch is a one shot combo in 2v2s and it feels really cool
And here's another tip after using Saitama ult don't imidetly use a move look what they do if they walk away do nothing if they still attack you use death counter as soon as possible and don't activate Saitama ult when low it will not heal you
i try to bait garou and atomic users to counter by:
3 m1 fake downslam
missing throwing trashcan
As a sole console player (yes, I’m not kidding here. I play on Xbox, lock on is CRUCIAL to me, although I’ll admit, it’s too good in general. Using metal
Bat with this mechanic made me BETTER.
If you struggling with downslams, after 3 m1s try to move back then go forward and do the down slam
Massive W dude! I love your videos! I subscribed and your the best advisor EVER! Wish you the best.
Thank You sm this helped i saw improvement for like the past 5 days i will keep doing this since it helps sm, New sub love your content :)
