I had a some other brand beginner dulcimer that would not stay in tune. I purchased the Berg model and am very impressed with the difference. Thank you so much .
I had a made Backyard standard 5:24 cardboard that sounded very good and I really liked it. Would recommend. Gave it to an interested student. Got a student model berg With a shorter 26 VSL that i really like. Highly recommend.
Thank you for this. I live in Wyoming and have thought about getting one to try. The cost has always been intimidating. I only have videos to try to learn.
@@christopherseilaff8665 I HIGHLY recommend Tull Glazener''s lessons and method. I tried for 20 years to figure it out on my own. His lessons turned on the light and took me to the level beyond the next level.
I’m a beginner beginner, (if that makes sense) 🤭 I love the sound of this instrument. I’ve never played a strong instrument. I don’t want to take lessons I want to learn on line & by practicing on my own. What would you recommend.
Thank you for this helpful video! What do you think of the Roosebeck "Grace" and "Emma" Mountain Dulcimers? I'd like to upgrade to one from my beginner's dulcimer.

Thanks for the great info , God bless!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank You!!! This is Great for a beginner!!! Can these be tuned to baritone?
Anything can be a baritone, just takes heavier strings. I wouldn’t do heavier strings on a cardboard one though.
@@BanjoLemonade I thank you again!!!

Sorry but I don’t know anything about those.
I just sent one back. The 7th fret would not play "E" but played "F#". It might have been a one time.
Love my TK Obrien, it sounds better than most
you make me not hate the church
That’s good.
There is a lot of Christian songs I like very much, even though I have zero beliefs in any kind of a supreme being. Good music is good music!
