Been doing KB presses almost like that and flyes just lying flat on the ground but most definitely gonna try out this variation during my strenght training today. Thanks for a simple, yet great tip.
Bought this for my youngest to develop basic form for single hand kettlebell work. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxtaDAl93XF8wxJhssTtjIFjzid82wglva It has a nice grip on it, just a little rough so it isn't slippery. I was doing a few rotator cuff exercises to test and worked well for those movements I'd been doing with a regular dumbbell. Cool thing you can do is hold it in your hand for door-knob turns to work the forearm and grip. Note: it's small, almost all handle, but that's what I expected given the weight. Smallest I've worked with before is 15lbs, so it was kind of funny to see the difference 10lbs makes.
The most useful exercise for chest is kettlebell snatch. Who never tried that, now thinking that i`m jocking about, but its pure true! You will be schoked, when you´ll see your chest after 50+ repeats of snatch!!!
yeah i just bought some kettlebells and i love working on my chest but it is complicated due to the design of the bells...this video helps me construct a better format

that second one technically is not an exclusively kettlebell exercise. I'd argue that you can also perform similar form to effect with standing dumbbells and those push up handles one can get off of etsy. You could've gone with the alternating KB chest press imho. Goblet hold for better effect. Great video tho!
What if you only have one kettlebell? Actually I have 3, an 8kg, 16kg and a 24kg, but you get my point since these exercises require 2 KB's of the same size and weight. Never mind, I guess I have to go somewhere else for alternative workouts.
I was able to order a Kettlebell from Kettlebell Kings several days ago You have to go in there at least twice a day cause some of their weight options open up.
@@asse1112 Yeah I just checked on Rogue`s site, they have every weight available in the regular and E-Coat series. Looked like the demand is now slowing down vs two months ago.
If you watch his form on the kettlebell push ups/press ups, the way the bells raise his body up, means that as he descends he can get a much deeper stretch than he would be able to on the floor in a normal press up. Once you lower to the floor, you can’t go any further, whereas introducing the dumbbells, you can continue on and get a very deep stretch, rivaling a tricep/chest dip on bars. That added range of motion is what’s going to build muscle as it’s taking the muscle groups through their full range of motion, and it being a novel stimulus most people won’t be accustomed to, there will be a hypertrophic response in a way there wouldn’t be with a normal floor press up.
all the pressure from your body. It looks like the same thing you see when someone is trying to flat bench press and they use incorrect form, putting pressure on the back of the neck with their back off the bench, essentially turning flat bench into decline to make it easier to press. just looks stressful for the neck and spine, just an observation.
Thanks for your feedback. We recommend you give it a try and offer some feedback. Out of the thousands of folks who have completed the program, none have mentioned any neck pain, but we appreciate feedback. We believe with correct form that the neck should not be pressured.
The challenge hear is that you really need to practice getting into the proper position for each of these movements. You can get great results, but if you get out of position or over train, then yes you will have some unpleasant outcomes. Plan, Test and Prepare before attempting these techniques. I am a huge believer in Kettlebells & large resistance bands, but you really need to do your research on each and take the time to work with someone who has experience in using & training these implements. In addition, getting movement screens would be go a long way to help you to understand where you have physical challenges that you may be unconsciously compensating for now, which would introduce problems later
This is much easier on your wrists if you are carrying extra pounds, injured or have more wear and tear on those joints. Having your hands in this position is a lot more tolerable

Yes, I’ve implemented kettlebell Chest Presses into my chest routine several years ago. Great Vid!!!
Great video apart from everyone trying to talk over each other, just have one coach perform and the other coach talk it through
It became very annoying for me halfway through.
I’ve done this without the bridge, it works well. I’ll definitely add the bridge next time.

Fucking true
I like the first exercise but for the second I think I would use push up handles rather than risk "flipping the kettlebells"
Clever. I haven’t seen this before
Lol love how you all talk over each other. Good work!!
This is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! I've never seen the chest press before and I've trained with KB's for years! Thank you!
Karim Sanchez i
Man, those pushups look like dips. This looks awesome. Gotta try this out.

Let’s talk over each other throughout the video 🙄
Can you add all these videos to a playlists? I’m having to hunt them down and can’t find all of them.
“never seen kettlebells used for chest”... where have you been?
Very interesting and useful, thanks a lot guys
wow you guys are genius !
could this be done with one kettle bell? i only have the one
YES! You could alternate. You can view more of this program here: www.living.fit/kettlebell-workout-starter-kit
GREAT EXERCISE..BUT IT PUTS A HUGE AMOUNT OF STRESS ON YOUR CERVICAL SPINE....CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE INJURED THERE!
Respire!
I like to do floor presses when I do Turkish get down and up again

Do Crush Grip press... One Kettlebell x both hands on kettlebell X same bridge position
Great video... but you guys talk over each other and the info gets convoluted.
Is chest pressing from this deep position good for your shoulders?
If done correctly, you will not have shoulder issues.
Christopher Mallett there is absolutely no need to go this deep.
So I would advice you to not.
No it isn't good for the shoulders, but it is very much about technique. This approach is not for newbies.
We’ll be able to find toilet paper before we find Kettlebells
Look in Facebook marketplace. I got 2, 20 and 30 pounds for 80 bucks and one in Amazon 40 pounds for 104 bucks including taxes.

Just got some 44lbs and 53’s from Rogue! Finally! Check them out

Anyone know what to do if I only have one kettlebell
You could do one side at a time.
It would mean more core engagement that way too.
Get another one
very diplomatic fukn good guys
why don't you just do press ups?

The title says “a” kettlebell. I am a truck driver can’t take 2 I’ll keep scrolling utube
You can do all the movements with one kettlebell as well.
These people will take your money and not send you the product. Buyer Beware.
He's gonna tear a labrum from going so deep.
Justin, people who wear caps inside, environmental awareness not too high. Good video however.
is it me, or does that first exercise look unhealthy for your neck?
What would make it unhealthy for your neck? You are not putting any weight on it.

Those kettlebells look fake...like plastic with water..
is he doing chest with 2x 15 kilos ?:D
qpae123 looks like 16kg to me
Just do push-ups
dips are better than pushups for chest activation, but this video gives good advice also.
felip uno no they are not. Push up is the foundation. Dips are an extension. Push up is king.

@@supercatforever I
You can also do a chest fly. durrrrrrr
Two different movements.
