I have eaten at both and prefer that one if it is cooler weather and you can eat outside. It is so peaceful. About gator, when we owned Shucker’s Oyster Bar, a lot of friends or relatives would visit who had never had gator. We always had them try gator and almost everyone liked it. I would suggest you try Shuckers because the food is great but it is very small and they are always busy for football games. We always said it was like Cheers, where everyone knows your name. 408 SW 16th Street if you want to give it a try sometime. It is more of a bar but, like I said, the food is great.
Are you talking about Shucker's on 441 Orlando in the 80's? 2 raw or steamed oysters bars, wicked gumbo, gator bites and a blackened alfredo, fish/shrimp/chicken to die for. I moved from PA for work and it was around the corner. Wait for a seat at the oyster bar, that and Charlie's Steak House, right down the street, voted top 10 right down the street have disappeared. I miss those days when you can feed 4 people, like kings/queens for $120.00. We still have Lee & Ricks Oyster bar that is great. Chain steakhouse 120 if you're lucky today.
I have a question. Don't you get tired of eating out? I do. And I have been waiting on Tember to do some recipes in the kitchen on her site. I enjoy your videos, but would like to see some cooking too. Maybe you could cook together?
I can’t stand to cook! Lol. What you don’t see is for our breakfast and our lunch, we do not eat out during the week. And most of the time, we eat out on Saturday multiple times to get our videos. With her being a teacher that is often working longer than normal hours, it’s hard for her to find time to cook and make a video at the same time. She enjoyed cooking when she has time and I cannot stand it 😀

The Shucker’s I’m talking about is in Ocala. Sorry I didn’t say that. There are quite a few Shucker’s in FL and all of them are different.
