We got to talk with Henu of Moonsorrow, Finntroll and also Satanic Warmaster (yes, you read that right - even though live member only) about music, work and awkward things. I saw Moonsorrow live in 2008 at paganfest in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
It was absolutely one of the BEST live performances I've seen in 30 years of attending concerts.

Awesome interview Jerry. Moonsorrow have been my all time favorite Finnish band since I discovered them back in February 2007. I saw them in Houston, TX back in April 30, 2010, along with Finntroll and Swallow the Sun. I had a small chat with Janne Perttilä on the patio while having a smoke. Cool dudes.

To be honest, me neither prior to meeting Henri that day.
I am not a Moonsorrow fan at all, but for some reason I still enjoy this. I guess because Rauta is such a great host/interviewer. I find myself watching all the videos even for bands I don't give a shit about..

Good interview. Good insight given on the connection between World of Warcraft and its influence on Moonsorrow's music. I think Burzum's albums were heavily centered around the RPG board game MYFAROG.

So he was inspired making his albums by his own rpg that he created in 2015?
